"Loved to have a locally owned bakery within walking distance to our hotel! I ordered a lemon tart and a breakfast sandwich that I didn't manage to get photos of because we wolfed them down so quickly. The food itself I would say is the star of the show, not sure if they were having an off day with the coffee but I ordered a caramel latte and an Earl Gray iced tea latte (also known as a London fog!) and the London Fog tasted just like milk while my coffee was undrinkable, kinda tasted like burnt drip. The owner Tina was super nice to chat with I just don't know if the man who was on drinks that day was in a hurry or what"

"The staff working were friendly and parking was available for a small fee across the street. It was not busy when we arrived 2 cafe tables outside were empty as well as one table for 4 inside. My daughter ordered an ice latte, my husband ordered an iced latte and a double chocolate muffin. I ordered a medium hot, black coffee and an apple cranberry scone. All three coffees were terrible. There wasn’t any flavor. My daughter and I threw our drinks away with more than 3/4 of the drink remaining. The scone wasn’t a scone. A scone has some height to it. Please refer to the photo included. It was more of a flat bread that was incredibly dry. Yes, I know that scones are on the dry side, but this was awful. The apples and cranberries had no flavor either. After a few attempts at trying to eat it, I just threw it away. We came here based on the reviews we saw on Google. I’ve read where the owner asked for people to bring matters to her attention while in the shop. The store became very crowded after we ordered our food, otherwise we would have."
