What People Are Saying
from Google"I visited Tin Can Café for breakfast. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant, clean, and visually appealing. The restroom is not outstanding, but it is reasonably clean and acceptable for a casual establishment. We ordered a vegetable omelet and scrambled eggs. The food took approximately 30 minutes to arrive, which already felt quite long for such simple dishes. Unfortunately, when my omelet was served, I found a hair in the food. At that point, it was impossible for me to continue enjoying the meal. To be fair, the waitstaff provided excellent service. They were polite, attentive, and immediately apologized when I pointed out the issue. They even offered to prepare a new dish, which I declined because, by then, the experience had already been ruined for me. Overall, I am giving 2 stars: one for the staff’s professionalism and one for the appearance of the restaurant. However, due to the extended wait time and, most importantly, the hair in my food, I do not plan to return."
"Everything was very good. We had a short wait of about 5-10 minutes. Our server/waiter Craig was very awesome, friendly, professional, efficient and gave us me and my 2 kids amazing service. My 9 year old daughter complimented Craig to his manager whom was friendly and professional as well. We would definitely be going back in the near future. We also had breakfast which was great. I had their shrimp and grits which were very good, my daughter had their waffles topped with bananas, chocolate and whipped cream and my son had a pancake which had a smiley face and ears made of 2 smaller pancakes which he enjoyed and we all ate all our food which was very delicious 😋😋. 🥰🥰"
"The gentleman that helped me was super helpful very kind and super attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better waiter. I got breakfast. It was OK. I wouldn’t say it was worth the price, but this is a good local spot where it seems all the locals go to so that says a lot"
"First time dining at the Tin Can Cafe in Clearwater and have to say it was a pleasant experience. Restaurant is a seat yourself style which is nice that you can choose between a booth, table or counter seating. Craig was our server and he was excellent in helping us with everything to make our visit great. Food was brought out in good time, looked great and the flavor was amazing as well!! They have a great menu selection for Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch!! Great job to the kitchen staff as well for their skills!!"
"Enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast at Tin Can today! First time here and we weren’t disappointed. Evelyn, our server was wonderful, warm and friendly and extremely efficient, managing a full house of tables flawlessly. We ordered the steak salad, huge portion, flavorful steak bites! The salad comes with a bowl of soup, we got the chicken orzo soup…delicious, full of flavor. We also got the veggie skillet, could’ve added some spinach but this was well seasoned and served piping hot! Hard fried eggs were perfect. Pleasant, clean, friendly environment. We enjoyed our meal and the overall experience and will definitely come back!! Thank you Evelyn!!"
