from Google"The food was very delicious, no complaints at all. Unfortunately, the service from our waitress was very poor. I’m not sure if she had too many tables, but when we were placing the order, my sister-in-law clearly informed her that she is allergic to seafood. The waitress said it would not be a problem because they have two different fryers, etc. Luckily, Daniel (the manager) came to take our order and my sister-in-law asked him the same question again. He was honest and explained that sometimes there can be cross-contamination in the fryer. Thanks to him, a serious allergic reaction was avoided. We truly appreciate his professionalism and honesty. After we started eating, the waitress came back briefly to say that Daniel had helped her and that she would be taking care of us — but after that, she disappeared again. We had to wait a long time to order desserts and coffee, and no one came to clear the table. All four dirty plates stayed on the table for over 10 minutes. Daniel was excellent and very attentive, but Norkis R clearly needs much more training, especially when it comes to food allergies and basic table service. 01/21/26 1:41pm"
"We frequent Narbona and consider it a mainstay of the Coconut Grove experience. The food is consistent and yummy. I typically order the Italian dishes while my family members order meat dishes. Both are excellent choices. They do have a grocery store and a bakery with exceptional deserts - I did not see sugar free options though. The restaurant is located in the back corner of Cocowalk, so you will have to look for it."
"We did an event at the Cava and everything exceeded our expectations! From the customer service from German the Chef to Mauricio and Daniel the managers to the staff who helped us on the event day! Everyone was extremely friendly, they decorated the cava with some dry flowers and candles and made the space look magical, we brought a few additional decor but honestly it wasn’t needed. The food portions were amazing and the presentation and flavor of every dish was in point! We had charcuterie board, empanadas and Provolone cheese and salmon and the aseo de tira and wow everything was delicious. We of course had to had gelato for dessert as they are the best ones in town and we go very often for them. Thank you to everyone who made our celebration so special and unique ! We will for sure do many more events with you."
"An experience that perfectly captures the "Uruguayan-Italian diaspora" spirit. Narbona doesn't just sell lunch; they sell the romance of the estancia. The decor, the walls of wine bottles, and the visible chef stations are designed to transport the diner. We stopped in for the three-course $35 prix fixe lunch and were blown away by both the value and the execution. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated—friend groups catching up over brunch, large multi-generational families, and couples enjoying the afternoon. It has that genuine, bustling "eating in a marketplace" feel that gives it that special vibe. For food, the empanadas were amazing (we tried the beef short rib and the iconic onion/mozzarella—both incredible). My entree was the chicken with mushrooms in an cream sauce, which was flavorful and balanced. We split a side of fries that arrived exactly as they should: piping hot and crunchy. My partner (a sommelier) had a glass of Tannat (the signature Uruguayan red), which was excellent. We finished with the flan which came their famous house-made dulce de leche whipped cream—do not skip this. Service was impeccable. Our waiter, Jordi, was attentive and timed everything perfectly. The venue uses Toast and we loved paying with our mobile wallets. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, high-energy dining experience"
"Walk by this place 1 million times in the morning and I’ve had coffee there in the morning, but I’ve never actually had their food I went there on a date and we ordered only cappuccinos and dessert. I was gonna get the cheesecake, but I was convinced to get this other dessert and it was highly worth It was an ice cream with almond crumbles and of course I had to ask for more almond crumbles, cause I like the crunchy in the soft and sweet The cappuccino was delicious and we sat right by the bar The only problem is that the bathrooms are outside of the business so you have to walk out to a community bathroom for the entire plaza which I did not like But overall, I would recommend visiting this place and the pastries and coffee are unbelievable. Can’t speak for the food but maybe one day I’ll go back for a bite."
