Denis and Lynn care deeply about what they serve, and it shows in every bite. They’re not just owners, they’re passionate and trustworthy people who built something truly special. The onion flax bread is a must. Hummus 10/10. Sweet potato lentil soup 10/10. Potato salad 10/10. Veggie burger 10/10. Sunflower tuna pâté 10/10. Honestly, I could list the entire menu. "Just gotta say "wow". I'd been here years before and had a pleasant time but don't recall ever buying anything–just good conversation with Dennis. Today, I was reminded of this place on my way home and decided to bike over and have nice herbal tea to wind down before retiring home for the night. Dennis, the affable proprietor, greeted me as soon as I walked in. The scene tonight was serene and quiet–a stark contrast to the usual coffee shop ambiance of the day with all the type A hustle and bustle. After hearing what I was looking for, Dennis recommended their Herbal Coffee Latte–and man and I happy he did. It's rich, semi-sweet, and nutty with a strong almond-infused body. I don't even talk like this; but, after one sip, I feel like the black Anthony Bourdain (RIP). In sum: this place rocks–in a quiet, calm, serene kind of way. Highly recommended."
