"I’m sorry in advance to be leaving such a bad review, I typically don’t do this. However, this deserved it because I have never been so disappointed in this place. As you can see in the receipt I ordered two churrasco specials. I asked for mine without onions or tomato, it did not have the tomato but it did have the onions which I despise. I also couldn’t even eat it because the meat so so extremely chewy and raw. The price reflected on the receipt is different from the price on the digital menu in the bakery. I usually love pinecrest. I always pass when I’m on my way to the office to pick up breakfast or lunch since it’s close by. It’s frustrating to be this disappointed because I normally love this place. I will say, the ropa vieja empanada is always amazing and that stays consistent. Their pastelitos are always on point. I expected much more on the food especially for the price I paid. 3 cake pops for $10 is absurd and it tasted like they’re covered in fondant instead of chocolate or icing, I wasn’t a fan and neither were my nephews. Lesson learned. Stick to pastelitos. On a brighter note, I did tip Zoraimar 20% because her service was great."

"We were in the area and just stopped to get some desserts to go. This is a small bakery inside a Cuban restaurant. First thing I noticed is that they didn’t have enough fresh pastries as I was expecting. Now, the desserts and juices we ordered came out surprisingly delicious and tasty. Staff is nice and attentive."
