What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Let me start by saying this: TikTok did NOT lie. We were told to go to Java Jam, and for once, the algorithm actually cared about our happiness. I pulled up with my family of six, and from the jump this place understood the assignment. The plates are MASSIVE—like “did we accidentally order for the table next to us too?” massive. The quality of the food is outrageous. Dear Lord… every single bite was hitting. I think I sampled everyone else’s plate except my own— just kidding, I destroyed mine too. 😅 Now let’s talk vibes. The location? Elite. The aesthetic? Chef’s kiss. Sitting outside on Las Olas Blvd, downtown Fort Lauderdale as your backdrop, people strolling by, sunshine doing its thing—this is main-character energy breakfast/brunch. Beautiful, relaxed, and somehow still buzzing. And then… GREG. Ladies and gentlemen, Greg is not a server—he’s a walking Google Maps, Yelp review, and coffee encyclopedia combined. This man gave us a full rundown of the area, what to order, what NOT to order, how flavors work together, and even had us sampling coffee combinations like we were on a Food Network tasting panel. “Try this with that.” “No, trust me, you’ll like this.” He was right. Every. Single. Time. The man is a genius. ☕🧠 Bottom line: ✔️ Incredible food ✔️ Huge portions ✔️ Amazing coffee ✔️ Prime Las Olas location ✔️ Service that feels like family ✔️ TikTok approval confirmed If you’re anywhere near Fort Lauderdale and don’t stop at Java Jam, that’s on you. Highly, loudly, enthusiastically recommended. 10/10 will absolutely be back (probably too often). 😎☕🍽️"
"This place was pretty great! We found this place to eat at after getting off the cruise ship on Saturday morning. The food was amazing and I loved the downtown Ft Lauderdale setting! They had a walk in coffee bar and a restaurant which was pretty cool. You should definitely try this place if you are feeling breakfast in the Ft Lauderdale area!"
"Java & Jam is a local coffeehouse on Las Olas that also serves all day breakfast. Although I don’t drink coffee, the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha drink featured outside is really what lured me in. The atmosphere was chill with both inside seating and a covered patio area. I ordered the Tri Color Quinoa salad along with the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. When my drink was brought out, I could not wait to take the first sip. However, I found the matcha flavor to be light and the glass was filled with about 1/3 of ice. Also, my drink was not garnished with the chocolate bar as depicted and when I enquired, I was told by Kelly (our server) that they were out of garnish. Also note that there is an upcharge for alternate milks (oat, coconut & soy). My salad was brought out promptly (15 mins) and it looked great and tasted even better. This mediterranean inspired combination of lettuce, cucumbers, chick peas and feta cheese dressed with a cilantro and tahini combination was truly delightful. It was fresh and refreshing at the same time. Overall, Java & Jam is a great niche find on Las Olas, especially if you’re craving breakfast foods after the usual breakfast hours."
"This was my last brunch spot on my itinerary before I head home to Atlanta, and I am so glad I stopped by. The food was delicious and their fall coffee menu was yummmm. Joe was my server and he made the experience so warm and wholesome. I had the salmon bagel plate and it was delicious. Whenever I come back, I’m coming to see you Joe and visit the places you recommend!"
"Always consistent food and service. Great breakfast and brunch spot on las olas with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is fresh, patio is dog friendly. Parking is paid street or valet parking. This is a local favorite. It does get busy on the weekends so reservation is recommended."
"I had been looking online at this restaurant for a while. The family was off from work and school today, so we figured to pop in for breakfast. The steak..."
