"I don' write reviews often unless we experienced five star service. Sunrise cafe fits the bill. Visited two Sundays in a row and brought other family members. Food is excellent - never had shrimp and grits before so I tried it - awesome. Second time had the skillet and that was great too. Just the right size without wasteful excess. Service is amazing - we had Madi and Mariah and others working our table in unison. Food came out incredibly fast and extremely attentive. Our favorite breakfast place from now on. Prices are extremely reasonable and the selections will suit any preference. PS - try the fried green tomatoes - they were great if you like FGT."

"River of Life Fellowship “Divine Diners” invaded the cafe yesterday morning around 10am. There were 13 or 14 in our group. Miraculously (even though they had an active stream of patrons) they seated us all together. Our waitstaff, Cindy, was absolutely amazing. The majority of us were grey haired seniors and she was patient, pleasant and accurate. The food was timely and delicious. Thank you Sunrise City Cafe and Cindy for accommodating us and making our monthly fellowship enjoyable."

"The food was amazing… what’s even better… the SERVICE was phenomenal!! The manager runs a tight shift there! The manager was sitting ppl, clearing tables refilling drinks, each server passed by to ask us if we need anything… all of them!! Very impressive. The chorizo avocado breakfast tacos with grits was nothing short of amazing delicious mouthwatering flavors!! It’s definitely a repeat for us!!!!"

"Another place that we have talked about trying and just hadn't. We finally did and it didn't disappoint! The only negative I would give is it is a bit loud inside, but it was busy. The food was fantastic, so many options. I am not a traditional breakfast person, i like burritos and bowls and skillets etc and there are many to chose from. Excellent service as well! We will be back!"
