"I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do love biscuits, so I was glad to see Brass Tacks open up nearby. For my first trip I tried the sausage, egg and cheddar biscuit. I really enjoyed this sandwich. It’s a fairly large fluffy biscuit with a slightly sweet taste. The sausage is a split kielbasa type of sausage rather than a typical breakfast sausage. The egg was also cooked nicely and wasn’t dry. I also ordered a hash brown on the side, which I would say you can skip, especially if you are getting an order to go since they get soggy quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try a biscuit with pimento cheese, the biscuit and gravy or some of the other menu options. The staff was very friendly and the space itself had a cool vibe with nice art/murals on the wall. Definitely a great addition to the area. Check it out when you have a chance."

"So very happy to see this coffee shop come on… the service was great and I ordered a pumpkin spice chai latte.. it was super sweet and tasted like they used the concentrate (I prefer the powder). Do not think I would order it again. Also got done scones.. they were very good but small … dense. Not hard though. Will try again for sure. Sandwiches sounded good and I heard the biscuits are very tasty!"
