"Loved this find! My mom and I happened upon this place through Google search for something on our route home. Live music(not too loud), good sandwiches, great sweet potato fries (my opinion), outside dining (plenty of fans to keep it cool), people dancing. Loved the vibe. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the pricing on their menu isn't correct and they didn't bother to tell us that until after we ordered and went to pay. I questioned the total, he told me the cost of each sandwich, but it was a few dollars more than the menu showed. I paid, and mentioned to one of the ladies about it, she just said the menus needed to be updated. It's definitely worth dropping by and checking out. Staff was nice and service was prompt. (you order inside and they bring it to your table). I ordered the One Love Club (could only eat half)... plenty of meat on the sandwich! 😋"

"😳I must be lost! there’s nothing back here behind these buil… Yes, folks there is - maps didn’t take you to Timbuktu, you’re at One Love Cafe! (Ok, first, shout out to MASON, the does-it-all server and cashier with a heart of gold. Go Mason!) OLC, Not a whole lot to look at, but you’ll soon learn that’s not what makes this place special. Parking’s noooo problem since the cafe is set away from the plaza, so you get out of your car, walk a few steps and enter the outside which also serves as the inside. Huh? There is no ‘indoor’ inside, only a tiny bar and a cash register where you order and take a number, menus and one case of sweets. The next part’s the good part: the large covered patio has lots of metal chairs and tables, tall and short, and a few sitting out in the open air. Bringing this all together is the stage with a big pretty painted mural. Plenty big for a band - or two - to play for you. Now, the food *chef’s kiss* is very good and reasonably priced. It even gets brought to you!"

"A one-of-a-kind gem in Gainesville! It’s got amazing live music almost every day, and great drinks. Both a neighborhood spot but open and friendly to everyone alike. I could see this place becoming a very hot spot in the near future. Super kid friendly. An overall good vibe. 🥰"

"One Love Café is easily one of my favorite spots in Gainesville. The live bands are always great and bring such an upbeat, welcoming energy. The whole environment feels like a place where you can relax, enjoy good music, and just have a genuinely good time. The staff truly makes this place special. Deliah, Mike, and Megan are always so friendly, attentive, and on top of everything — they really help create that warm, community feel the café is known for. But the highlight of every visit for me is meeting and getting to know Sarah, the head chef. You can instantly tell how dedicated she is to her craft. Her food is consistently packed with flavor and incredibly thoughtful, and every meal she puts out is cooked to absolute perfection. Beyond just the amazing food, her customer service is top tier — she’s always so kind, so upbeat, and so willing to help in every aspect of the restaurant. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly loves what they do as much as Sarah does. I always look forward to seeing what weekly specials she creates — they never disappoint. One Love Café truly lives up to its name. Highly recommended!"
