What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Note: Ink Factory, is a brewery and a coffee bar, in one location, but Yelp and Google list them separately. Even with different hours, the location is open all day but they stop serving coffee around 3:00ish I think. I finally made it to Ink Factory Brewing, a ten minute walk from Jax Beach. I’ve been eyeing this place for a while. I usually spend a good amount of time in coffee shops working on my laptop, and I’ll admit I almost skipped this place based on the google photos, because it looked like it might have limited seating and no power outlets. While I wouldn’t call this a go-to “work from a coffee shop all day” sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor. I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence “Ink Factory”. I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn’t seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out. If they’re really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that’s pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I’d camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I’d come back to."
"Lord knows we have our share of coffee shops in Jacksonville. With many being great in itself. BUT, where can you find a coffee shop / brewery with an arcade, merch area, lounge to watch a live feed of the beach, and hospitable staff? Well, you've stumbled upon it. Incredible atmosphere and great beer and coffee. Catch up on your morning inbox with a hot cup of coffee and muffin, then slide into a cold, refreshing adult beverage. Great selection of beers, seltzers, and some wines to satisfy anyone's taste buds. Awesome place, and now one of my favorites. I am not affiliated in any way, just a satisfied Jacksonville local customer."
"Came in to work remotely for a few hours and enjoy a beer. This place is unique in that there are separate open rooms one with arcade games and tables and a bar area plus coffee. The only thing I’ll say is that the Pilsners and even the lager are very IPA hoppy, not what I was expecting but to each their own. Will come back to try others and the coffee! Great spot to chill!"
"I’ve tried all of the coffee shops in the larger Jax beach area and this is definitely my favorite. The person making our order was really patient and took time to explain the menu and offer up good recommendations. I ended up getting the Blueberry Blitz, which wasn’t even on the menu anymore, and it was delicious!"
"Sweet art and decor! Definitely has a skater, beach vibe to the entire store and advertised as a factory which is cool. Is lot more than a cafe. They have co working space that you can rent out and yoga classes it seems. My mocha was spot on, the chocolate was doing its job haha and mixed well with the expresso. Will come back to try my go to option of flat white"
