from Google"Stopped in for a glass of wine and they gave me the whole experience in a second. Brilliant food and the owners are absolute dolls. Thoroughly enjoyed this little place that reminded me of downtown Manhattan. I highly recommend everyone goes out of their way to visit."
"A quaint corner restaurant, with a unique vibe. The 13 Gypsies motive isn't what I expected, but then again I wasn't sure what my expectations were going in. A very small dining area, with a few sidewalk tables for seating and perhaps waiting. Wait you will do without reservations, because guest just keep arriving. The menu options are unique, and so items sell out. Daily specials are available. I can't say enough good things about the food. Tasty, portioned so you can enjoy, but not to over indulge. The in house chef's take pride in what they do, and I promise that once you've signed there, you will plan another visit. Be sure to let them know that Terrance for Rochester sent you."
"Made reservations here with my friend. Got seated right away, food was good but it was tapas style and the portions were really small. Service was okay-ish but we were asked to leave because they only give you a 1 hour and 30 minute time limit to eat since they only have a few tables. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the Mongolian beef skewers and the curry! They honestly had the best sangria I’ve had besides Spain. The only complaint we had is that it was kind of dark inside the restaurant and it was very hot and felt like there was no air conditioning that day we went. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars⭐️"
"My wife and I haven't been to 13 Gypsies in years. It was one of our favorites, but for no reason at all we had not returned since before COVID. We were so disappointed. The atmosphere in the restaurant had completely changed from a quaint European look to a "church". I'm fine with religious paintings and artwork, but this was over the top. The bathroom was even worse. The food was ehhh..., the service was fine but even though we told the server about gluten allergies, he brought bread on the plate of octopus. Will not return."
"Yum Yum Yum. The food, feel and service made me feel like I was in a hole in the wall local bistro in Melbourne (Australia) not FL, London or SFO. It was a such a joy to enter a small but welcoming space with an open kitchen that highlights the chef and his teams confidence in what they make - highlight was the crispy potatoes and curry (very UK) and the ox tail ragu which was a outstanding. Highly recommend"
