What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Not sure if they are just setting up, but walked in and there was absolutely no vibe. Just some chairs and the counter. They were out of drip coffee. Americano tasted like only water. Latte tasted like only milk. Barista was nice, but geez."
"The coffee shop is new, and the guy who attended us provided great service. The drinks are affordable and well prepared. There’s a small area with a few chairs where you can sit and sip your cup of joe."
"Okay, everybody downtown needs to try this place - great coffee, beautiful pastries (sweet and savory), and no lines!! They have zero ambience right now, but hopefully that will change. You can't even see the espresso machine as you walk in, but they're there!"
"All Jacksonville Coffee Company locations are solid, and this is no different. They have really good coffee and baristas that know what they're doing. The food options are great as well. I had to go down this morning and give it a try since it is now the closest option to me in Arlington where I can actually get a good flat white. Know before you go: The downtown location is small. It has one bar height table facing the street with five kickass stools that have rotating tops (I want some for the house) and that's it for seating. It's small and intimate, so not the kind of place I'd want to hang out in for too long, especially if I'm working on something on my laptop. I'll stick to their other locations for that. Maybe they will open shop in Arlington. Many others the area would frequent it as well. Anyways. Also, it's downtown so most of the parking options during business hours are paid parking. Just something to be aware of."
"Great new addition to downtown Jacksonville! Friendly staff, great cold brew, and one of the best gluten free muffins I've ever had. I look forward to a return visit!"
"We recently had an awesome time checking out Jacksonville Coffee Company for the first time! Initially I asked for some sort of iced latte (I guess..."
