from Google & Yelp"I happened to be visiting Jax for a medical procedure and the hotel was right next to Kava and Company so I gave it a try. What an interesting and action-packed bar I stumbled into! There is truly something for everyone at Kava & Co including: pool tables, ping pong tables, karaoke, a lively bustling sitting area and a quieter more mellow chill area to hang. The decor is phenomenal with many various classic albums and CDs artfully displayed on the walls and rafters. There is a CBD and delta8/9 selection as well. The crowd was welcoming and fun and within minutes I felt like a regular there. My drinks - which included both kava and kratom were on point and they even had some tasty food options. Lastly, I've been to many kava bars in Florida, but nothing prepared me for the splendor of Kava and Co. It is undoubtedly, the biggest and best you'll find in the state. Go check it out and remember, I told ya so!"
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kava & Company San Marco is truly a hidden gem — a magical sanctuary where conversations flow as effortlessly as the drinks, and every visit feels like stepping into a warm, welcoming oasis. Whether you're unwinding after a long day, kickstarting your morning, or just in need of a peaceful escape, this place has it all. The ambiance is nothing short of enchanting, with a vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. The drinks are crafted with care and creativity, perfectly complementing the endless array of activities and great company. A special shout-out to Megan, Abby, and Cianna — a few Kava tenders who go above and beyond to make every experience memorable. Their warmth, skill, and genuine hospitality truly elevate the entire vibe of the place. The staff is friendly, attentive, and passionate about creating a memorable experience for every guest. It’s more than just a spot to relax — it’s a community, a retreat, and an adventure all rolled into one. If you're looking for a place where magic happens — where good vibes, great conversations, and amazing drinks come together — Kava & Company San Marco is it. An absolute must-visit that will keep you coming back for more!"
"Stopped by this super cool kava coffee bar and i was impressed. I just grabbed a coconut lavender latte. It was very good. Daniel was so kind. My husband and I enjoyed talking with him. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a unique laid back vibe."
"Cianna or however it’s spelled. ( THE OWNER) Rude and unprofessional. Good thing her dad owns it because she wouldn’t make it in customer service in the real world! She also can’t make a drink to save her life if it’s not straight from the tap! Considering 1 drinks 10 dollar you’d expect consistency! Can’t really ask for a remake because she’s already unpleasant! I’d hate to see her after you tell her the drinks crap! Also ridiculous that every time you go in you’re charged a different price! Also had an experience where the tip amount was put in higher then it should have once processed! Didn’t say anything when I returned due to a conversation I over heard once a couple months back where she had a guest complain about such thing. Things she was saying while sitting in the guest area wasn’t the greatest! Anyways vibe is good, her attitude sucks, price won’t be consistent, if anyone other then her thus far is working, drinks will be consistent but if she’s there take your money and burn it or don’t get a flavored drink. Excuse the high reviews they run promos giving free drinks for high reviews so that would be bias!"
"One star. Walked in and walked RIGHT OUT. This place feels like Grindr in real life except it’s masquerading as a “community” kava bar. If you’re a woman looking to relax, socialize, or feel genuinely welcome, this is not the spot. Every time I’ve been here, it’s the same scene: no women, no balance, and an atmosphere that feels exclusionary rather than inclusive. Kava bars are supposed to be about openness, grounding, and connection. Instead, this feels like a closed-off clique built for a very specific crowd, while everyone else is left feeling uncomfortable or invisible. If exclusivity is the vibe you’re going for, Welcome to Grindr. But don’t pretend this is a welcoming social space when it clearly isn’t."
"Cute comfortable place! Drinks were good and staff was friendly. We were just passing through on a road trip."
