"Nice atmosphere, but very long wait time. Mellow Mushroom Pizza in Jacksonville has a cozy and welcoming vibe, and the fire truck inside is a great attraction for kids. The food was good once it arrived, but the wait time was over an hour, which felt excessive for dine-in guests. We noticed the kitchen was very busy with to-go orders, but the delay for those of us eating at the restaurant was still too long."

"Mmmnmum uhnnmmm nmmuhh ĥhhumnn... Had to start this review whilst devouring the deliciousness-ness! This was a rarity when everything was just right: The weather, the other people there eating, the aromas in the restaurant, the food, the drinks, and the waitresses. I was feeling pizza! I ordered the rolls and calzone. It was preceded by the enlightened spinach salad which was rummaging! I knew at some point I needed to get a stomach ache fitting in all the food I wanted inside my belly. Mellow Mushrooms did that darn- thing. I took my time. This was my day off and I have absolutely no regrets. I'm heading back for there "Maui Wowie" - meet me there!"

"It has been years since I ate at Mellow Mushroom. My Wife was craving a shiitake mushroom pizza and she certainly was not disappointed. I tired the Avondale and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely dug the design and atmosphere of the place. Was semi-tempted to ask for the fire truck table, however, I believe that’s for a large group. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Though the pizza is flavorful, my rating is for the overpriced, flavorless burger and side. The meat was absolutely boring, soggy, grey in color. The bottom of the deceptively oversized bun is wet as a sponge. Try delivery in a paper box of some sort. Not thought out in a sealed plastic container which obviously steams your food. Maybe a tablespoon of grilled onion. I threw $15 in the trash. The tater tot side is pathetic. A few undercooked pale tater tots that tasted once frozen. Stick to the pizza where they started out. The rest of the food seems a ploy for money without customer respect."
