"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ XAPA Coffee & Bakery is one of those downtown Lake City gems that’s perfect for a quick lunch break pick-me-up or catching up with a friend. Their coffee menu has plenty of great hot and iced options, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want in a coffee spot—laid-back, cozy, and welcoming. I really like that you can choose between indoor seating or outdoor seating in the front and back, which makes it easy to find the perfect spot. The pastries hit the spot, though I’d love to see a few more food options—something simple like a sandwich would make it an even better go-to for breakfast or lunch. Occasionally, the coffee taste isn’t quite as consistent as I’d hope, but most of the time it’s really good. Overall, XAPA is a great local spot that’s absolutely worth visiting if you’re in Lake City. Swing by during your lunch hour or weekend stroll—you’ll find good coffee, friendly vibes, and a place you’ll want to come back to."

"I drive all the way from Gainesville to this little coffee shop, and what a treat! Right in the heart of downtown Lake City, this place is my favorite coffee shop of all time. I love the cozy little vibe of the place; it can get pretty busy, but if you avoid peak hours, it is a quiet and lovely little place to hang out. The employees are always friendly, and the barista Jai always makes the best recommendations on the menu. The coffee is full-flavored and locally roasted, and the surprisingly large selection of house made syrups has not once disappointed me. I love all the fun seasonal flavors, too! They also have some of the best matcha I've had outside of Japan (and I lived there!). If I had to recommend a drink, I'd say either a cold brew with almond cocoa syrup and a splash of oat milk or an iced oat milk latte with honey and lavender syrup. The treats and food baked in-house are always superb: the best bagels outside of New York, wonderfully sweet and tasty stuffed croissants (they sell out quick!), and, if you're lucky enough to have the chance to try a slice of quiche right out of the oven, it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. If you find yourself in Lake City or just passing through, I cannot recommend this gem of a store enough."

"What a darling place with yummy sweet treats and a charming, low-key atmosphere!! Wish I had more time to spend there, but I had time to just grab 2 items to go. Blueberry scones were delish as well as the chocolate chip pecan cookie. Servers were caring and helpful with genuine smiles. This is a must when visiting Lake City. Located in the historic downtown area."
