"Lots of coffee shops being attracted to the Lakeland area lately, so it only makes sense Foxtail would join the mix. This is located in a new area just west of downtown- you have to park around back and walk up, there’s no direct entry at the front as it faces the busy Kathleen Road. Inside, there’s a lot of seating so it’s meant to be a place to hang out catch up, do work, homework, or crafts as I saw some doing. It’s very industrial feeling so not the coziest but it’s got its own charm. I got a tea lemonade and enjoyed its freshness. They have a lot of coffee and tea offerings, many of the traditional options and always a few specialty or seasonal drinks. Something Foxtail is also doing with most new locations is combing it with a Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream. So if you don’t want coffee but want a sweet treat, you could come here for ice cream instead. There’s also a few options for outdoor seating."

"I found a new regular cafe to journal and work at. The vibes? Immaculate. I am a manual wheelchair user, and besides the entrance being a little hard to go over, the lobby and bathrooms are really accessible as well as the parking lot! Which is rare in lakeland. (Edit: The side entrance is the hard one to get into but discovered they have a front entrance and that one is so much easier) I enjoyed the gluten free and vegan options they have as well. It's so nice to be able to order food at a cafe with all the allergies I have. I would recommend trying this place out if you are hesitant"

"The coffee was so good, I almost forgot to take a picture before I finished it! Not only is the coffee yummy, the staff is super friendly! I came here with a friend and they were really welcoming and polite, and when our order took a little while to come out they gave us a free drink card for the trouble! The atmosphere is super chill and the café area is very spacious and clean; there are a lot of power outlets too, so its a great place to sit and relax or get some work done! I will definitely be coming back 😄❤️"

"First off it should be noted that this is a chain not a “local” coffee shop. That being said the inside has a very nice atmosphere although a couch or some more comfy seating for longer stays could be nice. The staff was friendly but definitely overwhelmed. They just opened today and I think the response was bigger than they expected. Almost all of their bakery items were out and it did take about 10-15 to get our coffee. I wouldn’t put too much stock into the wait time though as I’m sure once they settle in they will operate normally. The coffee is good. Not great but good. Their selection of coffee types will please real coffee lovers but their limited selection of frilly or flavorful drinks may be off putting for those who like the sweet stuff that somewhere like Starbucks offers. The hours are great considering most coffee shops close early in Lakeland. Having a spot in central Lakeland that’s open later and has ice cream is sure to be well received. Overall this is a great addition to the Lakeland coffee scene. Nothing too fancy and also not too sugar focused. Just decent coffee in a great location with great hours. I’ll be back soon to try out there sandwiches and ice cream. The blueberry muffin was pretty solid. Stop by and support their new business!"

"First day opening. Will review later. Returned for breakfast. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The time for service was a little slow because I believe they were under staffed. Coffee and breakfast muffin was good and hot. Compared to other coffee in the area the prices are a little high Plenty of parking. They serve ice cream which looked great."
