"A friend I was catching up with recommended this place and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were very sweet and helpful and I appreciate the patience they had with me. As for the food and drink they were also very good. I had gotten the strawberry matcha latte which tasted incredibly and their chocolate croissant was flaky and buttery. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely be back if I am ever at Lakewood ranch."

"Hello, I would like to report an incident that occurred today at the Kahwa location in Lakewood Ranch. I come to this location regularly and usually have a good experience. Today, I requested frothed milk with my espresso, something I’ve ordered before without any issue. The employee, who identified himself as Ash, told me that adding more milk would require charging for a latte. I was perfectly fine with that and agreed. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, he deliberately poured the frothed milk out into the sink in front of me and said, “That’s as far as I can go.” When I asked to speak with the owner about how this was handled, he told me, “No, I’m the shift leader”, and then proceeded to say, “I hope you find another coffee shop.” I want to be clear: This is not about the cost of milk or being charged for a latte. It is about the attitude, disrespect, and dismissive behavior shown to a loyal customer. Throwing the milk away in front of me and then suggesting I find another place to go is extremely unprofessional. I am taking this seriously and would like the owner to contact me directly regarding this matter. I have a recording of the conversation if needed. I hope this can be resolved promptly and respectfully, as this does not reflect the service I expect from Kahwa and certainly not from someone representing your brand as a shift leader. Thank you."

"Another great Google find. Never would have ended up in this area without searching for Espresso and seeing what came up. Tucked into the corner of a strip mall, this spot has super friendly staff, delicious Java beverages and a nice mix of pastries and quiches. Flaky and buttery chocolate croissant is even better when warmed up. Espresso has a nice nuttiness and a strong but mild bitterness. Delish! Only downside is the price. Double espresso almost $4 feels somewhat criminal, but maybe I’m just getting old."
