"I have to say it’s amazing when we support local small businesses and especially when they serve with a passion. The young lady who attended me was extremely friendly and attentive. Hard to find that in Little ole Lehigh. The owners, although I didn’t meet them in person were extremely grateful for the compliments. But, they honestly deserved it. The food is top tier. It’s a shame I didn’t take a picture of my “Maggy’s” salad which is a steak salad with salsa verde, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and onion. By the time I decided to take a picture, it was all gone. I also ordered a churro cake and my husband decided to try it and loved it so much, he didn’t leave me a bite. That’s quite a lot to say considering he doesn’t like chocolate. I had to order another one. But lucky for you, it allowed me a picture. For the kiddo, she got the chicken tender and fries but they were fresh and homemade so she enjoyed them. The restaurant itself is cozy and modern. I would compare the style to a nice restaurant in Ft. Myers. I certainly plan to drop by again."

"I've lived in LA for 4 years & wish I'd heard of Maggy's House before. This restaurant is a absolute gem 💎 We were greeted by Vanessa with a great big smile & felt so welcome to be there. Business was steady but the noise level was low & it was easy to talk to my friend across the table. There were some people who were having coffee ☕️ & chatting people around & the vibe was so cool. 😃 The caramel latte was hot, beautiful and delicious 😋 I ordered the steak sandwiche the au jus was top notch w/ sweet potato fries. My friend mentioned it was my birthday & Vanessa surprised us with a molten church cake topped with ice-cream chocolate cinnamon and whipped cream. Worth every single calorie 😋 The prices were reasonable & it felt like a bargain. Visit Maggy's House and treat yourself to great homemade food & the friendly atmosphere."

"The wings were crispy and the flavor was awesome. I love that the sauce was on the side. And I can't wait to order again. It is a wonderful atmosphere for a business lunch or friends getting together. It's clean and has friendly staff. The food is very tasty and there's so many more items to try. Thx guys for a healthy menu and you're right in town! ❤️❤️❤️ To Maggys House!"

"I can’t express enough how much i recommended this place. Such a cute and cozy spot. The food was delicious. I ordered the steak sandwich and my parents ordered tacos. It’s very rare where we all three collectively agree about the food. Just go and let the place speak for itself. Not to mention the pricing is really good. All three meals with tip included under $50."

"The workers are very friendly and the place looked clean. We were pleasantly greeted by 3 staff members as we entered. The food was acceptable but not exceptional. The menu is very limited and we were told that the hamburger is more like a meatloaf consistency than a full beef burger. We opted out of the burger for that reason. We waited almost 20 minutes for our food, which surprised us as it was not crowded in the least. I scored low for a few reasons. FIRST: WHY do restaurants insist on requesting tips when you, the customer must stand at the counter and order then have to go back to the counter to retrieve your own food when it's ready? We didn't know we'd have to retrieve our food also and my husband severely over tipped. SECOND: The christian music was lovely, however, it was WAY TOO LOUD! There is a speaker just about above every table so you can't get away from it. It's impossible to hold a conversation with out yelling let alone, trying to hear each other. To make matters worse, as we were finishing up the music got even LOUDER!! As we were leaving, another couple were leaving also and their comment was, "it certainly got loud in there!" and we agreed and we both commented about someone cranking up the already loud music to an extremely uncomfortable level. This is a restaurant, not a concert. THIRD: As I mentioned, the food was just okay. My onion rings were barely warm when I got them. They were tasty and had a sweet onion as the center. I was only given about 2 tablespoons of au jus, barely enough for 1/4 of the steak sandwich. The onions and peppers were nearly raw and the sandwich could have used more steak. For the price I expected hot food and decent quantity of protein. They were very gracious when I went up to the counter to ask for 2 more containers of au jus. After waiting for a couple of minutes, one of the workers (manager?) said they would bring them to the table. FOURTH: I'm not a soda drinker and when you purchase a combo you get a drink also. My options were water or soda. I would have loved an iced tea. FIFTH: I ordered onion rings with my combo meal and was not told that there was an up charge. I saw it AS we reviewed the charges but people really should be told when there's going to be an up charge. This could be a sweet little cafe if they'd lower the music and prices and serve the food hot not room temp. The staff members were very nice and very courteous. The seating options were generous with many tables and counter seats. They really are trying to make it a notch above the rest by adding flowers to the plates and serving the fries and onion rings in wire cones. When we asked for to-go boxes, again, they were very gracious and gave us boxes lined with papers. I'm not sure if I'll go back but if I do, I'll only stay if the music is at a background level and not concert level. If the food is served hot and quality is improved, I'd certainly be open to changing my initial review. Maybe they are just going through the early stages and dealing with the growing pains."
