"The food was delicious and a great value. I could probably eat a bucket of that moros rice. Cuban coffee was excellent too. Service was great - the lady at the front showed me all the dishes and explained each one which was very helpful. Highly recommend!"

"Found this gem of a cafe on the way home from a Key West visit. Service was amazing! Our breakfast was served within just a few minutes of ordering. While the menu is small, it is perfected. My breakfast sandwich was huge (it could have fed four people) and especially delicious on Cuban bread. The staff was friendly and customer oriented. The coffee drinkers in our group were very happy! Great place!!"

"While traveling through marathon on vacation, my daughter and I were itching for a home-cooked meal and we decided to stop at LJ’s Café. My daughter got breakfast and I had the chicken friance or something close to it. It was a quarter of a chicken with Cuban rice, black beans and potatoes, and it was absolutely amazing. Very reasonably priced. Also got some kind of Cuban coffee they had and it was some of the best coffee I’ve ever drank in my life. We ended up sitting next to the owner and struck up a really nice conversation and it turns out it is a true family owned and run operation. I can’t say enough about how good the food was and how much we enjoyed meeting and speaking with the owner and her son."
