"We were at a different cafe, but left as they no longer carried turbinado sugar which goes best in gourmet coffee. My friend looked online and found Rockies so we headed there. The place is roomy with a beachside atmosphere. We ordered 2 Americanos and a pumpkin cheesecake muffin as it was my friends birthday and I wanted to stick a candle in it. The Americanos were delish and so was the muffin and when one of the baristas saw that my friend was trying to take a photo of us, she came over and offered to take it for us, which was very nice of her."

"This new little spot in Melbourne Beach is truly a gem—and exactly the kind of café this sleepy town has been needing. Stepping inside feels like walking into a cozy beachside coffee shop you’d expect to find in Northern California. For me, it was like a little slice of home. The food is delicious! I had the Chattanooga chicken tacos, and they were so good. The order comes with three, but they’re really filling—I only managed two and handed the third to my partner. What makes them unique is the fresh strawberries on top paired with their signature “Rockie sauce.” It’s unexpected but absolutely works. The vibe inside is just as great as the food. The framed surf art, dark blue walls, and funky furniture give it so much character. There’s also a nice patio out front and convenient parking behind the café. If you’re visiting and want a great spot for breakfast or lunch, you’ve got to check this place out. Just note: they close at 2 p.m., and breakfast service ends at 11:30. "June 19th 2025 This place absolutely rocks (pun intended). We stopped by this morning for breakfast and a quick video showcasing the best spots in Melbourne Beach on our way to an Open House, and this place did not disappoint! The menu is easy to read and understand, the staff is super friendly, and the interior design is very bright and sunny - an overall great way to start our day! The food and drinks were also fantastic - we will absolutely be stopping by again! P.S. - If you run into trouble finding parking out front, there are additional spaces in the back!"
