"I'm writing in hopes that the owner of this establishment will see this. I was there today just before 2:00 pm with my family because we just found out that you sell Indian River Coffee by the bag. We were very excited to purchase a couple of pounds here on the island since we usually drive to Melbourne weekly to get our favorite coffee. I stepped up to the counter that had no line and was not greeted by the young lady at the register where she sat, unoccupied. When I inquired about the coffee beans, she scowled and gestured to the sample bag on the counter without speaking. I then inquired further about price to which she replied "I'm trying to figure it out!", as she shook her head and rolled her eyes. Once she "figured out" the price, I then inquired about the size of the bag. She did not know how many ounces were in a bag of coffee sold by your business. Unfortunately, due to this uninformed, rude young lady, our plans to purchase one to two bags of coffee a week at Island Coffee and Smoothies have been cancelled. We would rather continue to drive to Melbourne where we are treated respectfully by well informed staff. I hope this review will bring about some extra training for your staff in customer service. We love supporting our small businesses on the island but this was absolutely unacceptable."
