"Route 66 has become part of our weekly (sometimes more!) routine! We both work from home, and at least once a week, we buzz over to grab two of the Mocha Coffee protein shakes. At 150 calories, it beats - hands down - a 390 calorie S’bucks protein drink that’s 3/4 ice. The shakes are so thick you’d think you were getting a DQ blizzard, but all you’re getting is healthy! And, unlike some other protein shake shops we’ve tried, the shakes NEVER develop that separation that occurs when they aren’t well-blended making the bottom half of the cup to turn into thawed out ice with no flavor! The decor has a nice retro feel that’s true to its theme of Route 66. But perhaps the best part is that the original and present owners are friends, so there have been no unexpected changes - just a continuation of the great menu and great service! The new owners are also bilingual, and, if you’re feeling a bit down or overwhelmed, just sit at the bar while she makes your shake and get to know Gabriella! She will brighten your day with her energy, optimism, and plain old love for people! For us, it’s our only shake option on the Island. We love it, and are pretty sure if you give it a try, you will as well!"

"Great nutrition eatery. Açaí bowls were different than our typical bowls we’re use to. This base was very thick and creamy, packed with protein. Fruits were fresh. Great decor, nice seating. Plenty of healthy options for drinks, shakes/smoothies, and bowls. Lots of additions available."
