"For an old traditional coffee drinker like me, this was a very different place to try. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into and it took some explaining….but I may be a Java guy and a kava guy :) The service was exceptional. Kaleigh behind the bar was super patient in answering all of my stupid questions about where it comes from and what it’s made of. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about kava. The kava itself was good. I don’t know exactly what to compare it to but I have a feeling it is a bit of an acquired taste. The latte with brown sugar maple was absolutely delicious. The syrup is made in house and definitely brings the flavor. The ambience was unique for sure. I loved the pool table and scooby doo playing on the tv. I think the only thing that would have topped it would be a bowl of dry Golden Grahams on the bar to snack on. That would give my inner 10 year old self such incredible joy. I would DEFINITELY recommend this cozy spot. But if you come, leave your preconceived notions and straight-laced opinions at the door. If you approach it with an open mind and a bit of curiosity, you will walk away with a unique and fun experience."
