"I stopped in to study and ended up having such a great experience. The owner was very kind and invited me to taste several menu items that will be launching next week. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken salad stood out with moist, perfectly cooked chicken, a fresh and unique sesame dressing, and a creative touch of mini savory beignet croutons that really elevated the dish. My favorite, though, was the salmon. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with carrots, onions, and zucchini—simple, balanced, and done right. I’m in Miami about half the month for work, and this meal truly tasted like something home-cooked and fresh, which is such a treat when you’re on the road. Coming from New Orleans—the home of Café du Monde—I have high standards for beignets, and this one did not disappoint. It was hot, fresh, and had the perfect texture that a proper beignet should have. The staff is always friendly and quick. I will definitely keep coming back. These kinds of businesses are hard to come by in South Beach."
