What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Las Olas came up as a recommendation so we decided to roll the dice and give it a try. The cuban sandwich was decent, better than average, but not memorable. The steak sandwich was just ok, a bit dry. It needed something, maybe chimichurri or aioli. The watermelon juice was decent, though you can't really expect great watermelon in December. And while I realize this was a walk up window, the service felt indifferent, however to be fair though we obviously looked like tourists, it seemed like business as usual for the locals. Overall, decent sandwiches from a walk up window"
"My uber driver recommended this place to try the best Cuban coffee in the neighbourhood, so I had to visit. It’s a hidden gem for sure. I had an unsweetened Cortado. Which I believe Cubans call Cortadito. It was an intense espresso shot with a small amount of unsweetened evaporated milk and foam and was just what I needed after a run around the lower South Beach area. He also recommended a Ham Croquettes so I tried one of those. Freshly made and served and not much different from what we get in the UK."
"A wonderful local food experience. For my first time in Miami it was unbeatable with delicious food, and incredible prices. I got the Spanish sandwich, Croqueta Casa, and Colombian Meat empanada with a mango smoothie."
"This place is a disaster, they charged $1 for plastic cups even if u buy a drink and food, I was buying two croquetas, one empanada and one coke, I asked a cup with ice for my drink, they gave me one small cup like the coffee size cup with one ice, you are buying food and drinks and they give u a cup that u can’t even put ice into that cup. They said that others cups cost $1 😂😂😂. They said that that mini small cup is free 😂😂😂. U are buying u aren’t asking for anything free, u aren’t begging. This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a restaurant and cafeteria industry. The server, the manager and the owner very bad attitudes, they think that they are doing the right thing about this matter. I wasn’t the only one mad about this over there. Never go back there. I gave my bag back without touching the food and I didn’t open the coke , there were charging me $12 dollars for this and in gave $15 for everything didn’t ask for change and they didn’t care 😂😂😂. The manager called me arrogant in front of all other customers and I left the place, unbelievable..That kind of places that they don’t know what hospitality means or customer service, even respect for the rest of customers or know how to deal with this kind of situation. Anyone in this country can open a restaurant or business but make sure you have the right people managing and serving in the right way. Just matter of time this place goes broke or change the employee. Don’t check out the bathroom, its a total lost, nasty nasty, that tells u everything about the business. Good luck"
"I could eat the cuban sandwich I got from this place every day. It was my and my husband's first stop once we got to Miami and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately there isn't a picture to share, because we just ate them so fast ! I also got the mango smoothie with a little sugar and it was so refreshing!"
"Found these guys in yelp looking for a Cuban sandwich. And it was fairly close to where I was staying. I like that this place had the order window and door..."
