What People Are Saying
from Google"A true hidden gem in the heart of Brickell, 1450 Café is a place where passion for quality meets authentic Mediterranean charm. Operated by the same talented team behind Cala Millor, this café delivers an experience that is both elegant and delightfully familiar. The pastry and bakery selection is absolutely outstanding — everything tastes freshly made, with impeccable technique and attention to detail. The ensaimadas are light, buttery perfection, and the jamón de Jabugo sandwiches are simply unforgettable: delicate bread, premium ham, and balance in every bite. Their coffee is excellent, rich and aromatic, clearly crafted with care. The service is warm and professional, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality that makes you want to return again and again."
"Coffee by Abel never disappoints and omg the croissants amazing per usual but what really makes it all worth it at the end of the day is the service you receive. Had the best time chatting with the workers today, cashier Thalia was the sweetest she served me with so much love and kindness. Will definitely be back."
"I had a weird experience here. Paid $20 for an avocado toast and it was a slice of un-toasted bread with the thinnest layer of avocado possible - more like a guacamole. You can barely see it in the photo. The girl at the register also told me tip wasn’t included. Ok, so I added it. Then I sat down and they gave my order to me in a to-go bag with plastic utensils when I didn’t ask for takeaway. I asked if I could eat it there and they said yes, but didn’t give me a plate. So I just sat at the table with my to-go bag and plastic utensils. I then saw two groups of people come in after me and also order and sit down and get real cups, plates, and cutlery at the table. It’s overpriced for what it is, and underwhelming service to say the least. There are plenty of places to get avocado toast or a croissant in Brickell."
"Got the steak and tuna sandwiches - sandwiches are a bit on the oiler side but tasted REALLY GOOD. The croissants also looked great"
"I’ve been here several times, mostly for Americanos, which they consistently do well. The space itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed—everything just feels done right. I’ve also had the burger twice on Thursdays, which is their designated burger day. Always takeout, so no photos—but the quality has been impressively consistent. In my humble burger opinion, backed by a lifetime of eating experience, this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It starts and ends with the beef: flavorful, high-quality, and perfectly cooked. The caramelized onions and bacon elevate the experience, but the beef is undeniably the star. Hands down worth trying. It’s officially become a Thursday staple for me."
