from Google & Yelp"So first time visiting Aventura and was looking for a place to have breakfast closer to where we're going, regardless of some negative reviews I still wanted to come in and I have to say I'm glad we did, the cortadito was delicious and the breakfast sandwiches were really good, not toasted but the bread was warm like it had just come out of the oven, I added cheese to my egg and ham sandwich on Cuban bread and my wife had it without cheese, it all came out rather quickly, no complaints on the food or the service whatsoever. Definitely recommend!"
"This place was great when it opened. Back then it was Vicky bakery. Then it changed to CAO After that everything went down hill. Quality, service and pastelitos size was cut in half for the same price. You better off with gas station pastelitos. Save your money and go somewhere else"
"I like the Tray of Pastelitos & Croquetica, but sometimes communication can be an issue. I am thankful when at least one person speaks English. Because of this, I started placing online orders. Even then, I noticed an issue with missing items-thankfully, I checked my bag before leaving, though I really shouldn't have to. Another issue is that when I order a large coffee, I am given a small and told there are no large cups available. In that situation, l believe I should be given two small cups to make up for the large. Thankfully, the issue with the missing item was resolved. The breakfast was okay. I will return only for the Tray of Pastelitos & Croquetica."
"Authentic and Always Amazing! I’ve been coming to CAO Bakery for a while now as it’s down the street from me, and it’s hands down one of the most authentic spots around. The line moves quickly, thanks to the friendly and efficient staff who always greet you with a smile. The place is spotless, with the team constantly cleaning tables as soon as they’re free. And the food? Incredible. Their cafe con leche is a standout every single time, and the quality is consistently fresh and delicious. If you’re craving real Cuban flavors in a clean, welcoming environment, this is the place to be."
"Wiiide selection of pastries, desserts, drinks. Affordably priced. The tres leches cheesecake pictured is so good! A bit of a wait to receive our order but overall a fine experience."
"There are two bakeries in SoFlo that I'll swear by and CAO is one of them. Great pastries, staff and really enjoyed the little playlist they had going. Beef..."
