What People Are Saying

"Great spot with great food! Just please switch back to your original coffee beans :( We are regulars and the past 2 visits we have left our entire coffees, very bitter taste. It's a shame because the original coffee was so good!! Aside from that, staff is pleasant and food is great."

"It’s a shame because the menu sounds fire but the actual place is a dump. It smells like stale water and a porta potty when you walk in and if you look closely there are little nat flies EVERYWHERE. It’s kind of gross (check out the the video) you can only wonder what it looks like in the kitchen area. The breakfast tacos did taste good but the breakfast burrito is NOT good. Tastes like a McDonald’s burrito with rotten bacon and too much cheddar cheese. For $40 on two items I would def take my money elsewhere for breakfast."

"So stoked to have a location close to home! Wide assortment of caffeinated drinks, and they’re all good. It’s one of the few places around to get a dirty chai. Nice mix of pastries and a full breakfast menu. Nice people, cute space, convenient location. Looking forward to making this a regular spot."

"Was really excited to see a Raccoon location open so close to home. Really nice cozy little space. Had an iced cafe con leche, and bacon egg and cheese bagel. Good coffee, good food, good service."

"Cute Spot with a Great Vibe, but Room to Improve I’m really happy to see this place open a real storefront in Edgewater—it’s super cute, I love the name, and the logo is great. The coffee was good, especially some of the more unique flavors like lavender, but overall, it didn’t blow me away. With so many great Cuban coffee spots nearby, I think there’s some tough competition when it comes to flavor. I had the breakfast tacos and felt a little underwhelmed. They tasted good overall, but the eggs seemed pre-scrambled earlier in the day or maybe from a mix—they were a uniform solid yellow, which usually means they weren’t freshly cracked and cooked. Also, they were supposed to come with guacamole, but the amount they added was minimal—barely noticeable. There’s potential here, and I love the vibe, but I’d love to see more attention to freshness and flavor in the food to match the charm of the space. The prices could be about 10%-15% cheaper to be more competitive."

"Stopped in on my way home from a farmers market in the area. I had tried their truck and really liked their coffee. This store is nice but just really..."
