"This coffee café is tucked beneath the Viscaya mansion in a couple of basement rooms. Spacing is tight and the tables were pretty close together, enough to make it hard to navigate between them. However, I understand this as rooms in the old days were smaller, and there is a need to get a lot of tables in the place to accommodate customers. My latte was good as was my wife’s. I did not have any food. There was also a gift shop, which is very small, but it has nice items. Should you be interested in taking home a souvenir or a book. If you are visiting Viscaya and seek coffee or a small snack this café will make you happy."

"While walking around Vizcaya it is nice To be able to stop in and grab a bite at the cafe and also have access to clean restroom. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly."

"I recently visited Vizcaya Museum Café & Shop, expecting a pleasant break during my visit to this historic landmark. Unfortunately, my experience at the café was anything but welcoming. The biggest issue was the cashier's shockingly rude attitude. From the moment I approached the counter, she acted as if answering simple questions was beneath her. With an air of entitlement and arrogance, she made the interaction incredibly uncomfortable. There was no visible menu on the screen, which meant I had to ask about the options, but instead of being helpful, she responded in a condescending and dismissive manner. The lack of basic customer service was appalling. Ordering a simple drink or snack should not feel like an interrogation, yet her unfriendly and impatient demeanor made it an unpleasant experience. Given that this café is located in such a well-known and frequently visited museum, I expected much better service. Vizcaya itself is breathtaking, but this café’s poor hospitality is a major disappointment. I highly recommend management take a serious look at their staff’s attitude because rudeness should not be part of the experience in a place meant for relaxation and enjoyment."

"This is a cafe set outside and near the garden grounds of the museum. I would say it's a pretty decent reward and respite from the brutal Florida climate. I highly recommend the Vizcaya blended iced tea with their syrup added on the side. They also have a few souvenirs that you can pick up at this store. I really wish the oasis/swimming pool portion of the museum of open and renovated as well, because it would have been a really special experience to be able to dip your toes in the water and drink some tea."
