What People Are Saying

"This spot is a quick spot that you can go to specially if you’re visiting one of the doctors office, the food is super good. They have down to earth cooks in the back cooking up that pool in black Americans know how to throw down now it’s a little costly here, but that’s expected because the prices are jacked up at the hospital."

"Update Sep 2, 2025 at 21:30 Last week was same unacceptable le pastry. Old guava cheese and stale croquettes. Whomever owns this place is lucky its in a high traffic hospital. Everything is thrash. Today at this time, the past e y trays are empty with 2 beaten up guava cheese pastry. U tidy trays. Update: so in 3 more visits, nothing has changed. Twice one time no oatmeal.and another stale as usual. Today 5/27 no oatmeal. Asked for guava cheese got guava. Something needs to be done. Owner said 2 weeks ago, he took care of problem. Oh how disgusting. Just was there at 10:28 and got 2 ham croquettes and 2 oatmeal cookies. The cookies were hard aas a rock but l should have seen it coming. Only a few were on the tray. This is unacceptable and l paid cash out of a $20 and do t have the receipt as l don't think l was given any. Croquettes like mush warmed old stuff."

"Had to run in and get some food for people who drove me to the hospital and waited for me. I ended up getting only one sandwich because every thing else I was going to order, I was told they didn’t have. I ordered a basic turkey & cheese wrap that came with a small bag of chips. This wrap was so small it was smaller than 1/2 of a Publix sub but cost me $21.50!! It was soggy, the wrap itself fell apart because of the water downed condiments, so on top of it, it was impossible to eat. It was a joke, but the joke was on me. Stay clear of this costly cafeteria!"

"All the food and drink items are marked up 1000% Food quality is horrible, most items are raw or undercooked. (Empanadas, tequeños, pan de bono, etc) The coffee is bad and most of the time is made wrong. The girls behind the counter need training on customer service. No need for attitude. **Owner of this cafeteria please read all the reviews and take care of your customers and business.** Take care of your customers, and your customers will take care of you. -George Jenkins, Publix Founder"

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I HOPE THE OWNERS OF THIS PLACE CAN READ THIS!! I really put one star because google doesn’t let me to put less. First of all I’m an aged person and Spanish speaker and I feel very disappointed how they treat the costumer, this morning I went to get a something to eat before to go to my appointment, the cashier person was new, I ask for a cortadito and pandebono but she gave me and order that was wrong, she gave me an empanada, so I went to tell her that it wasn’t the correct order but ofcourse she didn’t understand me because she only speak English, with my little English I was trying to explain her, but she wasn’t paying attention to me , minutes after came a sweet Hispanic woman that also works there and she was trying to help me translating to the girl and also explaining to the cashier what was happening but then the cook came out screaming like crazy and giving orders to the lady to go make coffee, she tried to explain him what was happening but he didn't let her and continued screaming, (I don't understand how a man can be so rude to ladies and work with customer service) she was the only one who was trying to help me but he didn’t let her treating everybody as he is the Boss, So he came to tell me that the mistake was mine and the order that they give me was the correct one I tried to explain to him everything since the beginning but he was very rude yelling at everyone, that make me very angry and upset because I just went to that cafe shop to get something to eat not to be treated so bad, I was so mad that I returned the empanada. I pay $ 8.89 to leave with nothing on my hands , I feel supremely disappointed because this is a cafe shop that is inside the hospital and I think people like me deserve to be treat the best way. I just recommend to the owners that work with this situation also that put more Spanish workers because we are in Florida and the half of the population are Spanish speakers I hope this can help, just don’t waist your time, money and precious patience going this place. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 This happen this morning but I’m just posting it because my son is the one who help me with the English and the technology thing."
