"I recently visited the CowHais Coffee Co at 100 N Jefferson St, in Monticello, FL. I had a real nice experience having a nice breakfast here. I was greeted and placed my order. It was soon ready and had a seat, people watching. I ordered a pastelito which I hadn't had in a while. Ashley, the owner came out and we had a nice conversation. When near this place, go there!"

"Stumbled upon this place on a road trip. The coffee theme got me in the door. The conversation with staff kept us here for a spell. They have excellent coffee and wonderful service!! The Cowens are such good people. Serving coffee and such a great place to sit to get a break from the world for a bit. If I find myself in or around this area will be back!!"

"We are from Maryland and were in the area for personal business. We had never been in the area before and were checking out Monticello. We stumbled on CowHaus...and it quickly became my personal favorite coffee place, so much so that we intentionally went back when we returned to the area 45 days later to close up our personal business, even though it was not on our travel path. Great food and coffee, great people/service, and great atmosphere! If you are in the area, definitely check it out!"

"It's fine for a small community cafe. It is the better of the two available options in town. If you have had real Spanish pastries don't waste your time. The main problem is they are overcooked. Not sure if they buy them frozen and reheat? Visited 3 times and they have always been dark brown instead of golden brown. It should be a bite of flaky soft fruity deliciousness, but you get extra crispy, oily and dry."
