"Think Cheers + Guy Fieri, infused with the most welcoming vibe. This is our yearly must-go stop when we visit Florida! The food is phenomenal, the brews are unique, smooth, and oh-so-palatable, and the house staff are authentically invested in your experience being a positive one. You can witness the collaborative effort they all adopt to ensure your experience lacks nothing. If you are in the Mount Dora area, it is a MUST! Highly recommend the “chicken nuggets” and Kettle chips for appetizers."

"We stopped into Eden Abbey Brewing on a Sunday evening after the Mount Dora Craft Show. We sat inside the taproom, but there’s also a beautiful outdoor area that’s perfect for relaxing with a pint. I sampled a few beers, and my favorite was Das Brot, German-style Dunkle brown lager with a toasty, malty flavor that finishes clean, dry, and crisp. We ordered the kettle chips to start, which came out piping hot, perfectly crunchy, and sprinkled with a flavorful proprietary seasoning blend. They paired perfectly with the beer. For dinner, we split a Hog Heaven Burger with tater tots and a Fiery Clucka sandwich. The tater tots were some of the best we’ve ever had: crisp, golden, and not greasy. The Hog Heaven was huge: juicy beef topped with a mound of kalua-style pulled pork, bacon, cheese, and sweet smoky BBQ sauce, all balanced with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The Fiery Clucka was another winner, tender buttermilk fried chicken layered with crispy bacon, chipotle beer cheese, and firebreather aioli on a toasted brioche bun. Not overly spicy, just packed with flavor. As the evening went on, Kristin Tucker & The Abbey Band started playing. The music was great with strong vocals and a good vibe. The Christian song choices weren’t quite our thing, but the performance overall was solid and the crowd was clearly enjoying it. We eventually left when we had enough of it, to each his own I guess. Between the excellent beer, delicious food, and live entertainment, this place checks all the boxes. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend."

"Some places feed you. Some places pour you a drink. And then there are places that hold you. Eden Abbey is one of those rare spaces where craft meets care, where intention lives in every detail, and where community is not a slogan—but a daily practice of love. The beer crafted by Brewmaster, Ben Passmore, is nothing short of extraordinary—thoughtful, balanced, and brewed with both mastery and soul. And alongside his wife, Eve, the heart of this place beats even stronger. Together, they have created something that goes far beyond a brewery or restaurant. They have built a home. The food is elevated and unexpected—beautifully prepared, deeply satisfying, and far beyond what one anticipates from a brewery. The pretzel bites, buttermilk chicken bites, and wings are all exceptional—perfectly done and crave-worthy. The Mo Clucka sandwich is an absolute standout, and the wraps and salads are just as impressive: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. There truly isn’t a weak spot on the menu. And the people who serve it? They are family. You can feel it in their laughter, their pride, their presence. No one here is simply “working.” They are welcoming, caring, belonging. In moments when small businesses feel the weight of the world—when a single review can sting deeply—we want it known how profoundly this place matters. Eden Abbey is built on integrity, openness, and an unwavering love for its community. It is a place that listens, learns, grows, and gives. We are endlessly grateful for Ben and Eve, for their remarkable team, and for the sacred space they’ve created—where everyone is welcomed with an open heart, and no one is a stranger for long."

"We had an excellent meal here. I got the special, which was a pasta with blackened chicken and sausage in a thick cream sauce. We got a wagyu burger. Finished it off with a apple crisp. Atmosphere was awesome other then a drunk dude with an obnoxious dog. But the meal was good and the Atmosphere was excellent 👌🏽"

"We found our Cheers! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything I’ve ordered has been consistently high-quality and delicious. The nachos and rice bowls are favorites, and the chicken tenders are perfectly crispy on the outside while tender and juicy inside. The beers are always on point—brewed to perfection—and they do a great job rotating in excellent guest beers as well. The staff is truly exceptional. The owners have clearly handpicked some of the nicest, most attentive servers and bartenders anywhere in Central Florida—and I genuinely mean that. The atmosphere is another big win. One side of Eden Abbey is set up for sit-down dining with a mix of comfy seating, tables, and booths. The other side features a lively bar with tables and live entertainment throughout the week. No matter your mood, there’s a space that fits. Lastly, having met the owners, they are some of the best people we know—warm, endearing, and kind-hearted. It’s easy to see why the staff is so fantastic. Even when they’re slammed, they always greet guests with a smile and a hug! This has definitely become our go-to spot in town—we’re here at least once a week. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be disappointed."
