from Google"Finally, Imade it to Cafe Coqui, and it did not disappoint! This cute café is in Downtown Avalon Park across from the new Marketplace. But it's sooo much better, in my opinion. It's cozy, quiet, clean aesthetic, pleasant, and cute. here is plenty of seating both inside and outside. Inside, there is also a small bar top where you can enjoy your treats & beverages while looking outside. The service was great I did not see mallorcas (Puerto Rican sweet buns dusted with powdered sugar), I asked, was told they were proofing & needed 2 more hours. I told her I'd be back. When I returned, she remembered me & my request. I ordered two mallorcas both with powdered sugar. Idid want the guava and cheese but 1 will ave that for another visit. I sat and enjoyed my delicious mallorca while I read my book. Delighted!"
"Went to have a breakfast/brunch date with my sisters and everything was great we paid upfront for everything. Ordered a hot coffee flight and an omelette. Omelette came in and when I took the first bite I noticed it was undercooked... told the server about the omelette and she took it back to the kitchen and came back like 20 mins after with a to-go plate (per my request) with another omelette. Unfortunately it was not fully cooked AGAIN... very disappointed of this, but also the service wasn't the best. Returned it again and by then I didn't really want anything else. Thank you for the refund though. Oh and the coffee flight didn't come until after everyone had almost finished their meal (see picture)... (Also, I still cant believe that I got charged .26¢ for a 9oz cup of ice and tap water lol). The vibe they gave us is pretty much as if they were just opening.. coming to different tables with food in they're hands and asking each costumer if the plate was theirs... The place has great potential, hope they work on it..."
"This is a beautiful little place . I took my daughter and my best friend here for breakfast. The coffee was delicious. Price was decent . It’s not huge inside but decent size to hang out for alittle . Service was decent. The ladies as the front seemed unwelcoming and like it was a bother for someone to come in and order . We could have had better service though . Waited almost 30 mins after getting our food before we even got our coffee. It’s like they forgot about it . Everyone else around us seemed to had gotten theirs even with their food . Then when asked they looked confused about it. And After looking at both of the things we ordered we finally got our coffee. Aside from that everything was fine . Not sure if we’d go back."
"This place is small but cute hut the cashier girl Fabiana is LAZY . I tried calling to place an order since I live in the flats ( right upstairs ) and the cashier told me to hang up and place my order online. Honestly If you want better coffee and food go down the street to THE BAKERY COLOMBIAN COFFEE. Prices are a little more but they’re at wayyy B ETTER OPTIONS AND ATMOSPHERE IS BETTER and the cashiers aren’t lazy. I was only ordering a coffee Cafe Coqui and Fabiana was telling me to hang up and order online. I figured it’s just coffee so I can order from cafe coqui but I just got reminded why it’s better to pay for quality and service . They treat you good , greet you immediately . Trust me you won’t regret it . I’ll post a picture of THE GOOD PLACE THAT YOU SHOULD TRY BELOW.. the picture is where you should go don’t waste your time going to Cafe coqui . Do yourself a favor you Won’t regret it , go down the street and look for a beautiful PINK sign called THE BAKERY COLOMBIAN CAFE . Better quality and way better service . Go to where I posted the pic below . Better service 100 % and it’s literally on the same street opposite side ."
"Was not the best. Good to try once but won’t be back. Coffee presentation was nice however it tasted mostly like milk. We ordered the garlic potatoes and they came out cold. We left unsatisfied and went to the Colombia place down the road"
