My girlfriend and I both decided to go with the double wagyu cutlet. We were a bit unsure about whether we ordered too much food, but as soon as we had our first bite, we knew not a single bite was going to go to waste. The food quality is extraordinary! Despite the beef quality being so rich, the combination of the side dishes and sauces really did lend itself to balancing out the flavors, which made for an amazing culinary experience. Even just the wagyu by itself is perfect! The ingredients used leave you full and satisfied, but they don’t sit heavy. Make sure you leave room for dessert! The matcha ice cream brûlée was delicious! 100/10 would for sure recommend this place to friends and family. We will for sure be coming back again!"
"One of the best dinners I’ve had in a very long time. I brought my friend here for her birthday and ordered the surf and turf, I love having variety when I eat out so this meal was perfect. The Wagyu, the maguro, the cabbage slaw paired with an amazing sesame dressing, the potato salad, the rice, the pickled bok choy, the soup - so filling and delicious while still being reasonably priced. You can’t end your meal without trying their dessert, the matcha ice cream brûlée. I’m not a big matcha person and I’m a dessert chef so unfortunately I have high standards when it comes to sweets but my god this is the first dessert in a long time to leave a lasting impression. The lightly flavored matcha ice cream, the dense chocolate cake on the bottom and the crisp brûléed sugar topped with a perfectly balanced pinch of salt, I can’t stop thinking about it honestly and I can’t wait to come back."
"Decided to have a solo lunch date after grabbing some Gideons (must try if you haven't had their cookies!) and my expectations were exceeded. Me and my husband had gyukatusu a few years ago when we went to Japan and this meal reminded me exactly of it. Wagyu was very tender and the breading was crispy, delicious! The server was very friendly and attentive, she also made a good suggestion adding the raw yakiniku egg yolk to the meal and mixing it into the hot rice. Definitely will be returning."
"Wagyu is really good, esp when put salt and ichimi powder. Katsu curry is tender and juicy, go really well with egg york sauce mix in rice. Tuna one was just normal and not that special to me. Also, I found that you can also grill the breaded side after the meat side, it will crispy them up again. We found this out when grill is hot at the end of meal. Just remember to remind server to light the grill right after you order otherwise it not hot enough."
"We went to Gyukatsu Rose last night and my goodness it was phenomenal! I don't even like potato salad and I wanted to ask for more. The meat was divine and all of the sauces enhanced each slice of meat so well. I had the double wagyu, my husband had the surf and turf. And the sake drink with yuzu soda was so refreshing."
