"This place is more then a tea house or social club. This place is a family. Its hard to make freinds as adults but people and staff of kraken go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Game nights, open mic, wensday pool league ect... free pool tables also. The owners are lovely people and all the staff is top notch. If you dont drink kava or kratom thats ok, because they have e so much move to choose from. The cold brew is on point, green tea and blue lotus is yummy. You get the point. Dog and kid friendly Go check it out and see for yourself. They also offer discounts for military, firefighters and other first responders. Student discounts and a few more. If your board go check them out. It might juat be what you're looking for. It definitely surprised me. Place is still awsome"

"Stop by this spot on a Wednesday night it was pretty popular . Spoke with Fitz one of the kava tenders . He was incredibly friendly outspoken , driven and passionate about the product. He Recommended one of there drinks called autumn mule caramel apple with ginger beer it did not disappoint if you are in the Malabar area stop by and check out this spot . Friendly staff , welcoming atmosphere . They do a lot of different events throughout the week there is never a dull day down at this local kava spot . Be visiting again soon!"

"The staff at kraken are wonderful, they remember names and make you feel like family as soon as you’re in the door. The regulars in the bar are super friendly and also like one big family. The drinks are amazing. they have monthly drinks that are really good. And they always have events like bingo, open mic, clothing swaps, casino night, and other cool things to do and socialize. The inside has comfy seats, couches, and tables. They also have lots of board games. And really good music as well. Overall wonderful atmosphere, people, and drinks."

"Very well decorated, lots of nautical themed items. Incredibly nice tea tender, so friendly and inviting. The customers were interesting to hear about as well, people who have come from all over the place. They had different skills that I enjoyed watching them show off. There was someone knitting, while I was crocheting. Definitely a place I want to return. If your passing through stop by and make a memory, Kraken Kava is not a place that's easily forgotten."
