What People Are Saying

"What a hidden gem this is! My neighbors and I have lived within two blocks for over 7 years and none of us had noticed this lovely cafe because it is setback off the street with their parking lot in front. This is the second or third time I have ordered this awesome salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, farmers cheese and onions. And this is exactly the beautiful oval presentation every time! The Cevapi stuffed full of sausages and baked in the oven surrounded by Balkan bread is big enough to share. The large, at $15 is twice as big as the small and worth the three extra dollars. If you love baba ganoush, you must try several ounces of the ajvar which tastes like Baba kanoosh blessed with roasted red peppers! Most Fridays, they cook lamb on the spit outside. So if you love lamb, Friday is the day to come. It is always good to call ahead to check just in case the holidays create a change. There is seating for about 10 people inside but also a table set up directly outside the door and an outdoor patio set to the side. In the morning, around 9:00 a.m., they cater to the espresso and pastry crowd though regular food starts at 10:00 a.m. May have Stella and Corona beers which go well with the meat dishes! Here are pictures of my feast!"

"Casual limited selection Balkan food Pay attention to the total bill Chepavi was ok but meat was low grade greasy. Cheese burak was good."

"I went to Luna Euro Caffe yesterday, and the food was so delicious that I came back again today — and I’m already planning to come tomorrow too! Everything is absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and made with real passion. The owner is one of the nicest and friendliest people you’ll ever meet, and you can feel the love in every dish. This place truly feels like home. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and warm hospitality!"

"Disappointing experience due to dishonest charges and rude behavior I had a very unpleasant experience here and feel the need to warn others. First, I tried ordering ayran (yogurt drink), which was clearly listed on the menu. Instead of a simple “we don’t have it today “, I was yelled at that they don’t have it. There was no indication on the menu that it was unavailable, so I’m not sure how I was supposed to know that. I then ordered the mixed platter with ajvar and a side of French fries. While the grilled meats and bread were very good, the ajvar portion was extremely tiny, far less than what one would reasonably expect. The French fries were slightly undercooked, though this was a minor issue compared to what followed. The platter came with grilled meats, bread, a slice of raw onion, sour cream, and ajvar. My friend ordered ćevapi only. Her plate was served with a tiny dollop of ajvar and sour cream, neither of which she ordered. Here’s where things crossed the line: • I was charged and paid extra for sour cream, which I did not ask for. • The owner attempted to add a $2 charge for a slice of raw onion, even though onion was listed on the menu as included. • My friend was charged and paid for both ajvar and sour cream she never ordered, with the explanation being “because your friend ordered.” I did order for myself and only ajvar, not sour cream. When we questioned the bill, the owner was rude, dismissive, and argumentative, instead of professional. The overall impression was that of nickel-and-diming customers and adding charges without consent. Good food doesn’t excuse dishonest practices and poor attitude. I won’t be returning, and I strongly suggest others check their bill very carefully if they choose to eat here."

"Came into town and decided to give this place a try. Awesome experience! Ćevapi along with everything else we tried were on point and service was excellent! Will definitely come back next time we're in town."

"This was my first time trying food from this region of the world so I can't say how it should have tasted. With that being said the flavors of the meat..."
