"Honey Veil Bakery is truly something special. From the moment I walked in, I coul feel the heart behind the place. The two girls and their brother who started it are some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve met. You can tell they care deeply about what they’re building and about the people they serve. I would trust them with anything. Now let’s talk about the food … it is unreal. The cinnamon roll is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, and the matcha (and everything else we tried) was incredible. It’s the kind of bakery that ruins other bakeries for you. Sorry. I was only visiting on vacation, but I honestly wish they’d open a location closer to Boston. I would be a regular in a heartbeat. Until then… I might actually fly back just for another cinnamon roll. Worth it."

I tried one of their signature drink banana bread and it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and beautifully made. The bakery items are just as good, I paired my matcha with the cinnamon roll it was warm delicious just perfect. The whole place has a clean, cozy vibe. If you’re a matcha lover (or even just matcha-curious), this spot is a must-visit!"

"I recently moved from Miami to Tampa and honey veil had constantly been on my social media. I was finally back in town during the holidays and decided to stop by and I’m so happy I did. Their matcha was amazing and authentic. The quality of the matcha is just as good as those that I had during my Japan trip last year. I ordered the honey veil matcha for my sister in law and the banana bread matcha for myself. The banana bread matcha latte literally tasted just like a banana bread with matcha. It was a bit on the sweeter side which they were kind enough to explain to me before ordering and I was okay with that, but next time I’d definitely order a regular matcha latte to get a better overall taste of their matcha. I did get a side of honey whip to try which I loved as well, it is a very unique alternative to cold foam and the honey flavor and texture was amazing. Their sourdough cinnamon roll was also perfect. I am not a cinnamon roll fan but I wanted to give it a try since it was made out of sourdough and I’m so glad I did because it was not overly sweet. I will definitely come back when I’m in town again! 💙 I only wish they would sell the cute T-shirts with the matcha phrases that the staff wear, I would totally buy one!"

"The place is cute and well located, with a very nice aesthetic and an interesting concept centered around matcha. You can tell they use unique and original techniques, which makes the experience feel thoughtful and different. That said, I personally didn’t feel the hype lived up to the reality. The drink was fine, but it didn’t stand out as something truly delicious, and in my opinion it’s not worth the long wait, whether in line or ordering online. Overall, it’s a nice spot to visit once, visually appealing and trendy, but more cute than memorable."
