What People Are Saying
from Google"Lovely atmosphere!! Food was tasty and fresh. Our server Brie was fantastic as well. There was even live music for lunch. You actually are seated in the old pool of this Gilded Age hotel. we walked upstairs after lunch and toward the museum. We highly recommend."
"I ordered the Greek cup of soup with a half sandwich, and my wife had a cup of potato soup with a half sandwich. Both were very good—flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere was really neat, and the service stood out. There was a short wait to be seated, but our waiter made us feel comfortable and even brought a pitcher of sweet tea made with simple syrup (sugar water already melted into the tea), which was a nice touch. Overall, the food was delicious and fairly unique for a small café. We enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again. That said, the portions felt a bit small for the price. For around $20, I would have expected a whole sandwich and a small side."
"Some friends recommended this place for it's unique setting as it was once an old swimming pool. We ordered the combo lunches. I got the turkey, bacon, avacado with the Greek salad. Mine was excellent in every was. Fresh, tasty, olives were tart and honey mustard dressing was nice. My wife ordered the chicken club and the soup of the day, tomatoes bisque. She said both were tasty but the chicken was very chewy. Very nice restaurant and would come again."
"If I could give this cafe 10 stars, I would. How many people can say they are lunch at the bottom of a pool?! The ambiance is excellent and the food is absolutely terrific. We got sandwiches and salad and all of us said our meals were the best we've had in St Augustine yet. This is a must place to eat when you're in town. Also, it is located inside the Lightner Museum which is amazing. The staff at the cafe was also kind and professional. Just book it. You won't be disappointed!!"
