From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt comfortable and understood how to interact respectfully with the animals. The baby capybaras were absolutely adorable, gentle, curious, and surprisingly calm. Being able to pet them, feed them approved treats, and simply sit with them in such a relaxed environment was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The setting was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged, allowing the animals to move freely and interact on their own terms. What really stood out was Lindsey, she made the encounter fun and educational for all ages. "Great little find! This place is so cute. Very clean, animals treated well. The staff go out of their way for you and the animals from what we saw. It is a little pricey for a family of 4 but can understand the cost, due to the simple fact of what it costs to care for and upkeep the animals and the facility. Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely come again and bring our friends who come to visit us in Pinellas Park. Great job to everyone at Capybara!"

"We went for my daughter’s birthday and it’s a 10/10 experience. Every staff goes above and beyond to clean up quickly and effectively to make the experience super sanitary and enjoyable. Staff members were patient , educated and friendly with all ages. Welcoming the children and teaching them how to safely interact with the animals. Daniel was absolutely amazing answering every question and truly went above and beyond to make sure he could help us to the best of his ability ! We definitely will be back."

Upon arrival, she was given an edible piece of paper and an edible marker to write a birthday wish the capybaras could eat - core memory unlocked ✨ And plot twist, there’s more than just capybaras at the café. "Once in a Lifetime Experience My son saw a social media post about the Capybara Cafe and really wanted to go. Capybaras are his favorite and he was excited to see them in person. So we decided to go, and it was absolutely worth it. Yes, it is expensive, but truly a once in a lifetime experience. The capybaras were incredibly friendly and calm, and interacting with them was surprisingly therapeutic. They ate food from tongs, which made the experience feel safe and well organized. There were also several other animals, including a rooster, a large turtle, birds, and a few others, which made the visit even more interesting. The staff was friendly and made sure everyone felt comfortable and informed. If you are an animal lover or looking for something truly different, this experience is well worth it. We are so glad we went."
