"Upon entry to the Ground Ops Roastery, we kept exclaiming our astonishment that we hadn’t been here yet, after driving by hundreds of times. At the very point where Monroe and Thomasville Rd converge, the GOR is a busy and attractive coffeehouse that begs you to sit back, have a snack and a cup of your favorite beverage and relax. We had the Red Velvet, the Orange cake, Hello Cake and a vegetarian focaccia. All were outstanding, like the very best I’ve ever had they are that good! The staff suggested a perfect pink strawberry custom soda that my daughter adored, and her only regret was as mentioned that we hadn’t found this place sooner! Will most definitely be coming back regularly to our new favorite coffee shop and bakery."

"Good coffee and pastries, and probably the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had, but both times I’ve been here I wasn’t able to order what I wanted as half of their flavored syrups had run out. It seems they need to get better at ordering enough to last until the next delivery."
