"My Americano with an extra shot looked as weak as iced tea, and tasted watery. The barista said she put in 3 shots. I bought two more, to bring it to a typical iced americano strength. $15 total. I buy Americanos from many popular and serious cafes in Manhattan where I live, and know how strong they should normally be. So this was an anomaly. Either the barista has no idea how to measure coffee for a double-shot, or the store intentionally under measures their coffee to save money."
