What People Are Saying
from Google"I have reviewed your establishment's feedback and, working downtown, I thought it would be a pleasant spot to grab coffee and a pastry. However, my last two visits were underwhelming. The first time, upon entering, no one greeted me. I had to initiate conversation, and when I asked about menu items, I was cut off and told they had another customer. Furthermore, I was informed that they only accepted card payments in the morning, as they needed to keep change for valet. I attributed this to possibly the employee having a bad morning, so I returned a week later, but unfortunately, the experience was worse. Again, no one greeted me upon entry, and I had to initiate conversation. The employee was engaged in a conversation with coworkers, prioritizing that over taking my order. After placing my order, she put my pastry in the oven and then rejoined her conversation. She proceeded to pick her nose repeatedly before attending to my food. I requested that she wash her hands, to which she responded that she had used a different finger. I was shocked and asked for a refund, which was denied. Instead, I was offered a pastry that was not of my choosing. The employee then proceeded to wash her hands and rejoined her coworkers, who were laughing. I was taken aback by the poor customer service and sought to speak with a manager. However, no one knew who the manager was, and I had to seek assistance from a young lady cleaning in the restaurant area. She suggested I return at seven, which was not a suitable resolution. I emphasize the importance of respectful treatment of customers, regardless of their appearance or background. It is essential to train staff to be more respectful, kind, and knowledgeable about food safety protocols."
"Well, not sure where to start. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I have to be truthful about my experience so hopefully they fix the issue. I ordered a sausage, egg n cheese biscuit and as they were making it they said sorry we don't have the sausage, I can refund it for you and I said no just make me another one so it balances out. Well she didn't not did she refund me. I didn't want an to say anything because their were other customers waiting. Next up is the food. I had 3 sandwiches made, she put me I the bag and when I got back to my hotel room which took less than 5 minutes, my family proceeded to start to eat and their sandwiches were cold, I but into mine and it was also cold. My daughter also had to take off all her bacon since there was was way to much. The coffee was ok, definitely could have been hotter as well Overall from 3 sandwiches, a muffin, and 3 coffees, totally not worth $62.00"
"This cozy coffee shop, situated on the ground floor of the Hilton Tapestry Collection Flor hotel, offers La Colombe coffee drinks and features commendable service from its staff. However, it's worth noting that the seating space is somewhat limited, making it less conducive for those looking to take extended breaks or work on laptops. The shop operates until 2 PM, so if you need a caffeinated beverage later in the afternoon, you may want to explore other options nearby."
"I loved it! Such a cute space inside the hotel and lovely for a good cup of coffee. I had Evan take care of me and we had a great conversation! Evan was so nice and polite. :)"
"Nice opening weekend with free drinks and treats. The oat milk latté was great with their La Columbe espresso. I'll definitely be back and when the Floridian hotel renovations are done it should be really nice and have more seating outside."
