What People Are Saying
from Google"The food was fresh and delicious. My husband had biscuits and gravy with a substitute of an egg for the greens. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with the beet kimchi on the side. (I wanted to like the kimchi, but it is a taste I have not yet acquired.) I think I would have preferred the regular chicken sandwich. The desserts were the stars of the show. I absolutely loved the beet cake, which is a healthy take on red velvet cake. So moist and delicious! We also had a delicious cinnamon roll. We plan to go back for a sourdough loaf of bread. It looked really nice."
"We visited The Fat Beet Farm expecting a wide selection of beet products like juice and beet salads on the menu, but were surprised to find limited options displayed on the electronic board. ## Overall Experience They did have a beet salad in the refrigerator that we bought, and the food tasted okay overall. The atmosphere felt a bit upscale and polished—not quite our style, though very nice with outdoor seating. ## Pricing and Value Prices came across as a little high for what we got, especially given the beet selection shortfall. Still, it made for a pleasant visit worth checking out once. ## Recommendation 3 stars. Solid farm-to-table spot in Tampa with fresh grabs like salads and baked goods, but go in with modest beet expectations."
"The Fat Beet Farm is a fun experience. Choose from fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche, and breakfast dishes. Everything is farm fresh, and you can tell the difference of no preservatives. They have many agricultural products to go, plus tasty pastries and desserts."
"Fat Beet Farm Kitchen & Bakery – Honest Thoughts We were excited to check out Fat Beet Farm after hearing about its farm-to-table concept, but our visit was a bit underwhelming. The food was decent—fresh and flavorful—but definitely overpriced for what you get. One major downside: all seating is outdoors. On a hot Florida day, that meant battling the heat and a swarm of flies while trying to enjoy our meal. It really took away from the experience. To top it off, the farm portion—which we were looking forward to exploring—was closed to the public due to a private event. It would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time. Overall, it’s a charming idea with potential, but the execution didn’t quite live up to the hype for us."
"This is such a fun cute place. Fresh farm goods. Food was amazing. Our book club had a great morning out. Totally gave us the fall vibes too..last month."
