"We have been staying across the street at JW Marriott and I have to say, I’m very disappointed that I found this sweet spot on our last day. I walked right past it multiple times, but never noticed it. I was looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and/or pastry and this is it. The price is super reasonable in comparison to what you pay for inside the hotel. They have a really nice menu with a variety of items. All of it looks delicious too! Highly recommend if you are staying nearby."

"This was interesting place to go for breakfast/coffee ... They serve Starbucks here so its not a local coffee spot .. It's 1/3 coffee shop .. 1/3 hotel lobby shop .. 1/3 convenient / liquor store ... However, there's no tables to sit at inside so its either togo or either sit outside or sit in hotel lobby. I'm probably not their target market though so this does unfortunately nix any future Perk visits for me as a spot I'll go to in the future since there's no seating.. and Starbucks is right around the corner on H.I. for Starbucks coffee ... but its super cute spot inside with little Tampa souvenir type items and you can also buy liquor here - which is good to know since it's the only spot in the area where you can buy bottles. If you're staying at the hotel its definitely a great spot - just wish it also catered to locals."

"This might be the strangest place on Water St for the following reasons: Its coffee setup is a basic Starbucks setup. But their prices are like 2x higher than Starbucks for all the normal Starbucks stuff. Beyond the coffee setup, they serve $15-$20 sandwiches and salads. But it is just very basic fast food preparation. This morning I got a water bottle and egg white bites. $18. Seriously! Never again. In the renovation, they got rid of most of the indoor seating. Instead the space is wasted by selling little Tampa tourist trinkets. They have a huge fridge of convenience store items and wines. But the prices on these are outrageous. Basically, it seems like this place is the attached hotel's room service and wine menu turned into a retail establishment. But that means there is simply no reason to go here, since the hotel is right by Water St, several actual Starbucks locations (one across the street! one down the block!), a Publix that sells wine, and a small wine/liquor store with more reasonable prices (Wine on Water). Basically, this place is a tourist trap now. Disappointing. Do better."

"A beautiful, cozy, and atmospheric place. The service is absolutely amazing - the girls are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes you feel at home right away. The coffee is so delicious that once you try it, you won’t want to drink coffee anywhere else. Highly recommended! ☕✨"
