from Google & Yelp"Looking for a new breakfast place(I am a breakfast guy) and it was a bit of a drive but worth it. The menu was refreshingly new and different and it was difficult to choose just one meal. I had the Brisket Scramble and it was delicious, the wife had the Alaskan Arnold which was delicious as well. I wish I had one closer to us... I would frequent this place and I think you would too."
"First time here as we met up with some friends who are on their way home heading up 75. Now we don’t travel to the villages very often however this was a really great stop and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Had the fried banana peppers which I’m a huge fan of. Location is nice with lots of parking and that the service and food was quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area and look forward to the next time. I’m in the area to eat there."
"We visisted on 1/10/26. The patio was almost full and had many well behaved dogs- we like that. The restaurant had a lot of trendy and better options onits menu. It also has a full bar, loof "bruch" style drinks and serves lunch as well. Its not you tradional 2-2-2 type of place, and that is fine by me! The restaurant was clean and full! We were great promptly at the front door. Her receptions was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Tanya, was just as efficient and guided us through the menu. We ordered one of the benedicts they offer and a classic breakfast. Both were prepared as expected, but the yolk in the benedict was a bit overcooked. The coffee was good and hot. The creamers that accompanied the coffee were served chilled, nice touch. We are very pleased and will return"
"We went to The Toasted Yolk after church on Sunday. The restaurant was packed. I really wanted pancakes, but the biscuits and gravy sounded good too. I ordered the Cowboy Scramble which was two buttermilk biscuits with scramble eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, onion topped with country sausage gravy (sounds really good, right) with the hashbrown casserole and a pancake on the side. My husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito and the hashbrown casserole. It took awhile for the food to come out. We understood because it was so busy there. When we got our food, mine had grits instead of hashbrowns. I told the waiter and he said, “You ordered the grits!” I told him I have never had a grit and I wouldn’t have ordered them. He took the grits and got hashbrowns. I started to cut into the pancake and saw that the whole bottom was black! Totally burnt! The waiter took it back to the kitchen to get a new one. So I tried the biscuits and gravy. Oh my gosh…the biscuits were hard as a rock! I was not going to send this back and wait since I still was waiting for my new pancake! I’m not sure where the quality control was at this restaurant, but the cook sure knew the pancake was burnt and the biscuits were hard before they were sent out! My husband’s burrito was good. Also, double check your bill, we were charged for the burnt pancake as well as the new one!"
"Just had breakfast at this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. The food was served within good timing and it arrived nice and hot. Their cheese grits are amazing, cooked just right with a little bit of peppery taste. The eggs were cooked just right, well done as I requested but not overly cooked. The pancake was fluffy and extra large. The mimosas are top notch. The only negative we found is that we ordered a sourdough toast extra and were a bit annoyed that the price for two slice of bread was $4.49. We won’t be ordering bread next time. Our server Brianna was super, she was quick, cheery and had our order correct. We will return."
