What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"We stumbled upon this place inadvertently while on a day trip. My wife had a chicken pesto panini and my son and I had a flank steak panini. The food was excellent. Seriously, we were more than pleased with the ambiance, atmosphere, food quality and service. The staff were kind and generous. Additionally, one of the chefs offered us a sample of the cheesecake and it was, without a doubt, the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Sorry mom! We highly recommend this place. Plus, their mission in South America which the profits from their restaurants fund, is a worthwhile cause. Reading about their history and outreach was heartwarming. Supports their business also helps others. Thanks for the meal and, when I’m Vero Beach, we certainly will come again!"
"I used to visit this place quite often in the past, but it feels different now. The staff seem immature and inexperienced. Today, I ordered a $4 green tea, but what I received was just hot water with a hint of color; there wasn't even a hint of tea flavor. I didn’t end up drinking it. I've been drinking tea for a long time, in many places around the world, and this was the worst cup of tea. I think I’ve ever had. It must be the quality of tea. But quality control was an issue. I did mention this to the staff. Please invest in better quality tea, whether it's black or green."
"This is my favorite coffee shop. I travel for work and my favorite part about working in Vero is coming home to Rio Coco. The coffee is great. The food is simple and homemade and comforting and delicious. My favorite is the Paddy and Buddy's Burrito. Get extra sauce! It's so good you'll be licking your fingers. The people who work here are kind and courteous and love what they do. You can tell that management really cares about their employees. I love to see their annual Christmas party photo proudly displayed on the wall. Definitely stop by and support them!"
"Very cute local coffee spot! We got the white chocolate Mac Nut coffee iced and it was perfect, not surgery or overdone with the sweeteners and extra stuff, actually tasted like coffee! They have tons of food options and coffee options and reasonably priced especially for the area! Their isn’t a ton of area for sitting but they do have some outdoor seating too."
"I got an egg sandwich on a bagel and a mocha coffee. The sandwich was nothing special. I would compare it to a bagel sandwich from McDonald's. Coffee took some time to get, I was already done with my food by the time it arrived. Staff was friendly, and there is plenty of seating options. Based on the reading material on the table it seems as though they do a lot of missionary work, so that is a plus. Over all, I don't think I would need to make a second visit to the place."
"Friendly service with a calming ambiance. The baked goods are delicious, the food cooked to order was delicious as well (love the housemade sirachi mayo)..."
