from Google & Yelp"The atmosphere is great. It’s extremely clean, modern looking. But that’s as far as it goes. The treats taste pretty good but it’s extremely over priced. Almost $7 for a pop tart. Additionally, the service from the majority of the staff is non existent. They won’t contact you until you get to the front of the line despite waiting for a long time. Advise to the owner, if you are going to be this expensive, the service should match up to the price tag. The staff needs proper training on customer service. I’ve been here several times so it is consistent. I would like this small business to strive so I say all that out of care for fellow business owners. I’ll"
"Provisions is unexpectedly quaint and lovely, located inside the Krate area of the Grove in Wesley Chapel. There’s a lot going on at Krate, so it was a really nice change of pace stopping in here. We really enjoyed the coffee! Luckily it was just us, and even then it was slow to get our coffee. It was very handcrafted with even an actual bit of toasted marshmallow cream along the rim. So it’s gourmet, and worth the slower serve time but I can imagine it gets backed up when there are more people there."
"Let’s talk about it! Provisions Coffee & Kitchen! I have been seeing there cups throughout the city and some beautiful cold beverages. I finally made it over! And let me tell you it was worth the wait. Let’s start with the food; Their gluten free options are a wonderful plus, as most coffee shops do not offer those. BUT ON TOP OF THAT! Fresh baked!!! I had the pop-tart, this month flavor was pumpkin cheesecake cake! And I’m pretty sure that was maple on top. It was a perfect level of sweetness to the desired pumpkin taste. And let me be clear, I don’t eat pumpkin, BUT THAT POP-TART WAS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!! The lemon loaf, that was delicious as well. (I ate that too fast to grab a pic, my apologies) Now I will say it was a tad bit sweet for me, but it was great without having frosting. again in comparison to other lemon loafs. It’s a traditional staple at coffee shops. I will say I would rank it as a top favorite amongst all the other coffee shops I have been to. It was moist and did not lack any flavor at all. BUT AGAIN, fresh made!! The beverages- I have the Frankenstein Matcha, and my wife had the pumpkin marshmallow! The matcha was a perfect balance of lavender and green tea! The size was definitely wonderful for the price, and it was perfectly iced without being watered down. The best part was the matcha was well blended without any sipping chunks! The pumpkin marshmallow took a 15min ride home! Let just say their cups are a hit! They hold heat well and the temperature was perfect. I sipped it, the roast of the coffee was rich, the balance was perfect with pumpkin flavor and the sweetness did not over power. You really get to enjoy the roast of the bean. No my wife drinks coffee just about daily from 2 spots, and she has stated Provisions flavor profile and balance will be her coffee of choice. Now let’s talk about the service!!! I believe in shopping/eating local, small business owners. I can tell you, Provisions is at the top of my list! The server and cashier were the same person, but she had the perfect balance to call out the orders to the kitchen, ring up the customers, and make the drinks. I stopped by after a morning run, the air was on in the restaurant and I was soaked! She had remembered my name, statuses me on my drinks and food while ringing the line behind me. I saw she was able to do that with all those who were dinning in and those behind me. I hung out a few minutes after receiving my order. I was in and serviced with my food and drinks in hand in about 7 mins. It may have even been shorter because I was chatting with the customer behind me as she saw the decorations on my matcha! This experience hands down has been the best small business coffee shop I have experienced in Tampa so far. I have tried the three surrounding coffee shops, and I see why Provisions stand out!! No burnt coffee taste, and gluten free options, to eat without the guilt. I highly recommend stopping by. THANK YOU TO THE STAFF here at the Krate!!"
"Coffee is good, they use a great local roaster. Their drip is good and balanced. Also had a cappuccino & a cortado, both were good. The cortado could have had better texture but it was busy and I saw them have a little accident while frothing the milk, no big deal still tasted good 👍 Their pastries are great, this location & their other one always have great pop tarts but they go quick."
"Mixed feelings but with some refinement they could be excellent. I got a regular iced latte (merely sweetened), their bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and a biscuit and gravy. Iced coffee: Excellent. The exact right sweetness, not overly like Starbucks, but not under like your pretentious snobby shops. They use a lovely La Marzocco machine and it seems they know how to properly use it. The beans they used were nice and smooth and roasty without any burnt or bitter notes. Great job there. Bacon egg and cheese: The eggs were cold. Not refrigerator cold, just not hot or warm. Not a big deal to me as I'm not an incredibly picky person, but could be a deal breaker for others. It could have just been a matter of their processes. Eggs were losing their heat as they were prepping other aspects of the order. Aside from that small note the sandwich was dynamite. The eggs were fluffy and tasted good, thick cut bacon, the gouda cheese was the exact correct choice, the bun...the Brioche bun was STELLAR. I'm normally of the opinion that Brioche buns are overrated. I find them too delicate and not sturdy enough for my preference. THIS bun however...outstanding. The flavor and texture was like a cross between a classic Brioche bun and Japanaese Shokupan. I'll take 29 please. Biscuit and gravy: More like, biscuit topped with milk moistened sausage crumbles. Major mixed feelings on this one. The biscuit was great. Flavorful, light and flaky. The sausage itself, delicious and flavorful. The "gravy" actually tasted quite good. But number 1, it wasn't gravy, and number 2 there wasn't nearly enough of it. If they tweaked this one a smidge. Such as make it an actual gravy, thickened properly with the classic roux, and increases the amount of it, then it would be legitimately great and I would order this time and again. It has the right foundation. But as it stands I wouldn't order it again. Overall I really like this place and would like to see it flourish and succeed. There's some really excellent elements and with a little refinement they would be truly, truly great."
"Out of towner looking for a coffee shop and ended up here! Glad I did because the Krate area is very artsy and super cute. I was welcomed in with my two..."
