"We found this coffee roastery and did not know what to expect when we first arrived. But wow, when we opened the front door, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans made our mouths water. We met Gil the owner and he was very helpful, providing us with our first two varieties of coffee (Ugandan, and Colombian). What a great experience! Thank you for having this great coffee available for visitors to the Island!"

"There is coffee. And then there is COFFEE roasted by Gil at Nuanz Coffee. We made the mistake of gifting a pound to our kids in their stockings and now I’m shipping it all over the country."

"Coffee enthusiasts rejoice! I dropped by for the first time the other week as I Google'd around for local coffee beans nearby. As an aspiring connoisseur of homemade espresso, it starts with fresh, quality coffee beans. Besides purchasing online, it's not always easy to find good beans, and especially harder if you're still inexperienced in knowing what you truly like out of your morning brew. Do you want something fruity? Mellow? More body? Notes of chocolate or nougat? This local roaster has it all! The beans are roasted right here, and you can immediately smell the warm husks fill the air the moment you open your car door. Beans from various marked regions are imported from Panama, Uganda, Indonesia, Colombia, and many more. When you enter, there's a useful guide on the left that summarizes each of their characteristics, their elevations, and whether they're single-origin or a blend, but if you're unsure, the owner is an extremely pleasant gentleman who can provide some great recommendations. I purchased a bag of Uganda Bugisu that I'm still enjoying in single-shot servings through my Breville Barista Express Impress (#14 grind, ~12 grams, 200F at about a 3:1 ratio) and it makes for incredible shots, mochas, cappucinos and lattes! On one hand, I can't wait to try out the Java Estate blend, but at the same time I don't want to run through my bag so quickly :)! Totally worth coming back to, and I'm so happy that it's just a hop and skip away from home. There's plenty of other interesting lighter-roasted flavors I want to explore in particular, especially when the entire process from import to packaging is fully transparent. The prices are totally fair; I paid $18 and $20 for my 1-pound bags and I received an excellent product thus far. Definitely check this place out for yourself, especially if you've been drinking the usual store-bought brands for a long time. Whether you're making machined espresso or using a French press, they've got something you've likely been missing out on and will certainly enjoy :)"
