from Google & Yelp"I cannot even begin to tell you how delicious the food was! The burgers we had were cooked perfectly and everything on them was fresh and flavorful. Their raspberry vinaigrette one the salad was the best we've ever had and the Chef even let us purchase some to take home! The atmosphere here is very relaxing, most of the restaurant features reused or reclaimed materials, every piece is different. Very friendly staff, great service, even during the lunch time rush! 10/10 Will definitely eat here again in future visits."
"This was our first time visiting the bread house in Albany, Ga. It did not disappoint. The decor is so cute and rustic. ( Which I love). We got the spinach and artichoke dip, My husband got the Ruben and I got the Texas Grilled cheese. I would definitely recommend visiting the Bread House."
"Found this place while working in Albany. I’m really glad they are here. There just aren’t that many nice places to eat in downtown Albany. The atmosphere and service are great. My server paid the perfect amount of attention, refilling drinks and checking if everything was good. I wanted the house burger and asked if they could put pepper jack cheese as I saw another burger comes with it. Nope. But that’s ok I really like a good pimento cheese burger so I went with that. The toasted bun was great, the fries were great, the burger…. It was missing some seasoning. It just needed something as simple as salt and pepper and it would have been great. I was also a little disappointed with the pimento cheese. They did melt it, which is a big plus. Many places put it on cold and serve it. The problem is, there just wasn’t enough. One or two bites where it was a little thicker, it tasted good. But honestly I couldn’t taste the pimento cheese for most the burger because it was such a thin layer. That being said, I will for sure make this one of my regular stops when I return to Albany."
"This was my first time visiting The Bread House, but it won’t be my last. Located in the historic district of Albany, GA this country sheek restaurant was quite sizable hosting a 20+ wedding celebration at the table next to us, but wasn’t so large as to not feel like the service was lacking. My favorite bites were the soup of the day, sausage and mushroom, the blue cheese vinaigrette dressing made in house, and the southern fried chicken sandwich. Everything was very enjoyable especially the atmosphere, the portion size, timeliness, food quality, and attention to detail."
"i recently visited the Bread House Restaurant at 520 N Jefferson St, in Albany, GA. I had a great lunch of a chicken salad sandwich. I sat at the counter and had very good service. The building that the restaurant is located in had a great decor and from where I sat, I could see the bakery operation which was quite large. Definitely worth a visit. They also have an area of fresh baked goods. I bought a package of chocolate chip cookies, delicious."
