"No frills coffee shop hits the spot in the morning. the outdoor seating is probably more comfortable as the sun comes in the windows. Knowledgeable baristas keep it real without any flavored drinks. Be prepared for a little wait if you have food, but that's to be expected."

"Was very much looking forward to having my first coffee here at Blue donkey. Walked in with my wife it's open there was nobody in line and even though this is a coffee shop I could not order a coffee because one half hour before they are due to close they clean the espresso machine. I've never heard of this in my life. This kind of maintenance should be done after you close not before you close. I own several nightclubs and this is just an odd situation. You're obviously missing money since my wife and I walked out and probably won't be back. Hope your business plan succeeds with your weird cleaning policy but I doubt it will."

"A good cappuccino is more than the wonderful taste and brilliant aroma. A good cappuccino allows a person to ground itself. To find a bit of respite in an otherwise hectic day. This is the simplicity and importance of the serving mug. The vehicle by which you enjoy that bit of deliciousness conveys to the drinker "take a minute to enjoy the moment, and collect yourself." At Blue Donkey, the purchaser is offered a choice between a 12 ounce or a 16 ounce cappuccino. Strike one for me. Then, as many coffee shops have done, Blu Donkey eliminated the ceramic conveyor in favor of the take away paper. Rush, rush, rush with your cappuccino. Strike two. However, I must be honest in sharing that the flavor was very good. And, while the presentation was lacking, my barista acknowledged the delivery could have been better. Fair point. All in, I'd certainly stop by Blue Donkey again. Perhaps with my own serving wear."

"Kind of sad. The closing of the Terminus Starbucks left a huge opportunity for a speciality coffee shop, but this place lacks inspiration. The staff is rude, somehow the owners think a splash of Oat or Almond milk is worth an $0.80 upcharge. Expensive Oatmilk is about $5 per 1/2 gallon. Every 4 coffees will pay for a half gallon, while consuming less than 1 pint. I'm all for making money, but come on... Free coffee additives include packets of Splenda, Equal, Sugar in the Raw, and "cream". This isn't and exciting set of options for a $3+ coffee. I would prefer to support a small business, but in this case, walk to Starbucks in the Disco Kroger parking lot. There is a reason BDC is empty."
